The QUEFAR Cabins are hosted by a family. Drive in the gate & to the left & a host will appear. I met Daniela's dad, Victor & sister plus a shy barking dog. My cabin had a large, comfortable bed, a table & chair, a small refrigerator, a large closet, a TV & a bathroom. I unplugged the refrigerator at night & fell asleep to the sound of the river. Alto del Carmen is a stunningly beautiful village in a narrow green valley nestled between wind-rounded mountains that frame every view. The village has some 100-200 year old mud- & reed-roof adobe buildings, a small catholic Church with a beautiful mosaic, a new plaza. Plan to travel when there is no moon & bring what you need to lie out under the Milky Way. It was a privilege to visit this place. Plan for remote travel: service your vehicle & buy gas; bring drinking water, sun protection, practical running/hiking footwear & nutrition. Read about corner spiders. Check how well your wifi & data provider serves this area.

We had a pleasant experience, the cabin is beautiful, clean and had everything you need for the stay and more. David was very helpful at all times, also responding to messages or questions, he was very kind and helpful with us. Also Yelisa was very pleasant and concerned, I would go again.
