Vacation rentals with a kayak in Alto Alentejo

Lovely place super close to the beach.

Great Location, views and amenities + very close to the beach front, Casa da Guia and supermarkets. All round a comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom apartment that we recommend and will definitely stay again.

Silvia and her husband without charming. The stay was great and they were on the lookout at all times. They facilitated the arrival time and did not exfoliate everything in the best way possible. It was all very good. We will repeat!

I have stayed at dozens of Airbnbs and VRBOs, and my family and I were completely blown away when we walked in the door. The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us and even laid out a homemade feast. They were extremely helpful with suggestions of places to visit, such as specific places with amazing views of towns or sunsets. The home is very spacious and easily fit my family of 6, and would be great for a reunion. Beautiful tile work and nautical theme. Had bikes and other equipment to borrow. The Obidos Lagoon and Atlantic Ocean are right out the back door. Amazing walks and shell hunting. Absolutely would love to go back and experience another couple weeks there. If I could give 10 stars I would. Definitely will need a personal vehicle We had a 9 passenger van and had no trouble navigating the roads around the area. So nice to come back to the view and peacefulness of the lagoon after a day trip. Stunning view all hours of the day and night. What a gem!

Great stay, I want to come back ;)

We loved Patrick's cottage which was quiet and cosy. The heating was useful as it was a bit cool on one or two evenings, and we could watch Netflix and You tube in the bedroom. We also loved the chilled out blues music at Chouriços & Companhia Lounge Bar Restaurant overlooking the sea. There are loads of cafés overlooking the sea, expresso is very cheap and the ice cream at Gelatomania was good ... try the mango flavour ! The market produce was very fresh and tasty and there is a good selection of local fish or cheese so we cooked at home most of the time.

We stayed for a week at Quinta Felicidade with our three teenagers and we all loved it. The house is lovely, quiet, very clean and just the right amount quirky! We loved the outside space, the pottery room and especially the large pool-many happy hours spent splashing!! Our hosts Jessica and Stephane were very accommodating and looked after us very well. We would highly recommend Quinta Felicidade for a great family holiday.

We are a couple with an active 7-year-old boy. We really enjoyed our stay in Angelo's apartment. It was spacious, quiet and clean. We loved traditional Buarcos and the location of the flat - 1-2 mins walk to the beach and a lovely 15-20 min walk along the seafront to Figuera da Foz. Plenty of restaurants, cafés and supermarkets nearby. Angelo was very friendly and attentive, always replying quickly to our queries before and during our stay. Our son's favourite activities were the tree-top adventure park and crazy golf in Figuera, pedal boats on the river at Montemor-o-Vehlo (also walking along the walls of the castle there) and Ciencia Viva museum in Coimbra. We were very sad to leave and would definitely stay again if we return to this area of Portugal!

Carlos’ and Helene’s apartment is exquisite. Only 10 mins from Coimbra it is a beautifully restored cottage that is warm and inviting, but the most welcoming component is without doubt the hosts. Helene met us at check-in and in addition to giving us the full rundown on the property and it's surrounds, encouraged us to enjoy the surrounding bounty of fruit and produce, showed us the leisure equipment they offered and walked us through the use of electrical amenities. Next came the best surprise of all. The kitchen. Because our stay exceeded 3 nights our magnificent, thoughtful hosts had stocked the fridge with continental breakfast options and offered us locally produced honey and Olive Oil. It was such a thoughtful and generous act that really touched us. During our time both Carlos and Helene regularly touched base to see if all was ok and on leaving wished us safe travels for the rest of our journey. I can’t recommend it highly enough, do yourself a favour and stay.
