Alexandra's place was very clean. The house is big and pleasant to live in. We really enjoyed living there. Small inconvenience on arrival discovering that we can't put paper in the toilet but we managed to get there quickly. Alexandra is very responsive and accommodating. There is a mini grocery cafe right next to the house where there is fresh bread every morning, Elsa the owner is very nice. We recommend Alexandra's place because we had a great time at 7.

Idyllic, peaceful, beautiful. It was the perfect setting for a few days of peace over the holidays. We left feeling absolutely rejuvenated. The cabins were perfect, felt private. All the cork trees were amazing - such good vibes. The animals on the farm were all adorable. Would be a great place in summer when the pool is usable. The farm looks like a nice place for a wedding or other milestone family celebration for those who love nature. We would definitely visit again :)

What an amazing tucked away place. You have to be there to realise the beautiful surroundings. It was such a relaxing experience. Eugenia has been great. Always available and the place was clean and spotless. We will certainly visit again. Thank you for having us.

Lovely and peaceful cosy house surrounded by beautiful woodlands. The location is great if you want tranquility. The garden/pool are lovely and well equipped with little tables and chairs dotted around. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A mini supermarket is 8mn away other wise Pombal is 25mn. Flávio is super helpful and friendly. He recommended a few places to go and eat. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a quiet area very near to all the Knights Templars castles which we wanted to visit. Having the small swimming pool was a great addition. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

The house is in a private estate, the entrance of the estate is on the same road so if you go with a city car, no problem, barely pisas terra. The house has everything you need as far as utensils, board games. Large fireplace and radiators. Very attentive and friendly hosts. If I have to put a pega it would be the mattress, it can be improved. In short, it's worth it in terms of value for money.

Beautiful and secluded house in a pine forest. Close to small villages and Sesimbra, with tasty local restaurants and shops. Jorge and Virgílio kindly shared many recommendations, which all proved to be great. We rented the house for a Christmas vacation. Jorge was a welcoming host! Great fireplace with plenty of wood provided by the hosts. The main house is beautifully decorated and spacious, with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is well equipped, where you can cook and serve for a large party. Downside was the old/outdated appliances, but they worked fine. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable, even if a little odd as two of the bedrooms had two double beds, which may be a little confusing when booking for a large group. The house felt cold even with the central heating on. We had to keep an eye on the gas tanks to make sure they don’t run out- maybe better as a summer vacation home! As many houses in Portugal, there was a strong smell of mold. Overall a great stay!

Quinta da Bella Vista exceeded expectations. Dinesh, who checked us in, truly set the mood for our elopement with welcoming jazz music, wine, and cheese. The space was much larger than we anticipated, perfect for our pre-wedding prep. We loved it so much, we added an extra day to soak it all in! Aline and Dinesh's hospitality went above and beyond – their responsiveness to our needs made everything seamless. We couldn't resist adding the delicious breakfast each day (highly recommend!), fueling our explorations of the charming town within walking distance. Evenings were spent enjoying deliveries via the Glovo app, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The Quinta itself is breathtaking – stunning grounds, incredible views, and beautiful architecture. It couldn't have been a more magical place to celebrate our elopement. Quinta da Bella Vista holds a very special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and any other excuse we can find!

Really charming and peaceful place. Very spacious and easily kept warm by a fireplace with plenty of wood provided. Sandrine and Julien were extremely friendly, and has no problem when I caught an earlier train and asked to change my check-in. I was extremely happy with my stay.

A real little haven of peace. Atypical place, surrounded by nature and close to all major tourist cities. Clean and functional accommodation, with all the essentials for a good stay.

Quinta Brigadeiro is a delightful place to stay. We received such a warm welcome from all the family and all the animals. Within five minutes of arrival we were feeding carrots to their donkeys and their dog. The accommodation itself is well designed, understated and uncluttered. It was lovely to be in a peaceful, rural area but with the amenities and attractions of Évora a short drive away. Thank you for sharing, we enjoyed our few days with you.

For anyone that enjoys beautiful views and being surrounded by birdsong and nature, this place is a treasure. We really loved our stay and João and his family were super attentive and helpful. The New Years Eve dinner we asked them to prepare was delicious and the table setting was lovely. Very much worth the 5 star review. It may be useful to know you do need to bring your own shower gels, shampoos etc and things like olive oil and salt and pepper!

We had a wonderful time at Daniel's place over Christmas, it was just magical! My husband applied for me there on Christmas Eve, which makes this place memorable and special for us. Daniel has come up with something very special about Christmas and has slipped into the role of Santa Claus for us. He surprised us with loving gifts from his own company, which has touched us very much. Even on the holidays, he was always available for our questions and took care of us with great warmth. We enjoyed the tranquility and seclusion of this wonderful place very much. Saying “good morning” to the sheep and goats every morning or take a small hike to the idyllic river was simply wonderful. Unfortunately, only the donkey Zé remained hidden from us – one more reason to come back!

We loved our stay. the house was spacious and decorated beautifully. we received great recommendations to local restaurants. Armando and Andrea are truly helpful and the assistance we received when we had some car challenges was very generous. we would highly recommend staying at their Villa.

Fabulous location, peaceful surroundings. The whole concept of the place was wonderful. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We found plenty to see and do without travelling too far. We will definitely return if we can.

Wow - I am just so thankful to have discovered Elizabeth's place... it's an absolute gem!! It is like a magical slice of heaven on earth. Communication was amazing from the outset, with Elizabeth sending detailed instruction videos and responding immediately to questions. She was very flexible and kind. The area is stunning... if you really want to get away from it all this is the place to be. There is a great circular walk near the house which Elizabeth can show you and the beaches are special. Nearby Ericeira is friendly and charming and I was delighted to be in a haven surrounded by animals where I didn't feel lonely at all even travelling solo! The shipping container is thoughtfully appointed and having a separate living space was wonderful when I needed to work on writing. Both spaces are well-decorated with a Scandinavian feel and I instantly felt at home. I met wonderful people here and am especially thankful to have had Elizabeth as hostess...I will definitely be returning! :)

One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in! The location was absolutely brilliant; miles of hiking trails from the door, 10 mins from a town to get supplies and complete peace and privacy in the Airbnb. The outside space is very large and fully enclosed, perfect for our two dogs. We were able to relax in the sun whilst looking at the donkey and pigs in the field next door. The hosts were wonderful; they delivered a very generous breakfast each morning, were very responsive to messages, and even invited us to walk around with them one evening to meet their rescue animals. I would love to go back later in the year with a group of the friends.
