We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very practical: a spacious well equipped kitchen, toys to play at home and in the snow, close to town (5 min walk), etc.. In the winter the house can only be reached on foot or with a snowmobile, which added a magical touch. Heather provided a lot of information on what to do in Bear Valley and was always very responsive.

Will’s place was the perfect retreat to unwind after a day on the slopes. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and Will proved to be an outstanding host. To make our stay even better, we realized that planning ahead could have enhanced the experience—bringing slippers to keep our feet warm and stopping for groceries on the way would have allowed us to fully enjoy the well-equipped kitchen for cozy, home-cooked meals.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place is beautiful both inside and out, with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always quick to communicate and assist when needed. There was a minor incident during my stay, but it was not the host’s fault, and he handled it very well, ensuring everything was resolved smoothly. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely rebook if I return to the area. Highly recommended!

This place was in a great location for a family ski trip. The kitchen was well appointed (no coffee grinder though so come with your bean ground!) and it was to have the yard to play in the snow. No complaints about the beds, the hot tub, or the cleanliness. There were some decor items that we put out of reach of the small kids but otherwise the furnishing was fine. Thank you!

Amazing Stay – Perfect for Families! I can’t recommend Katia’s place enough! Our family of four (two adults, two kids) had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is thoughtfully designed and incredibly cozy, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of skiing. The layout is ideal for two families, with plenty of space and bathrooms to ensure comfort for everyone. A bonus TV in the downstairs game room was great—kids could watch their shows while we relaxed upstairs. The Xbox with a solid game collection (we had fun playing FIFA!) was a huge hit. They also have a classical guitar in great shape, which was fun to play. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to cook fresh meals, and there’s ample storage for coolers and bags, making organization effortless. Katia was a fantastic host—friendly, accommodating, and flexible, even allowing us to check in early when the kids needed rest. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Excellent rental, I’d highly recommend and would rent again. Myself and a small group of friends rented this home out during the snow season and loved every bit of it. Nice sized warm rooms with amenities, games were available, big back yard with bbq grill, fire pit, everything was clean, spotless, and I really enjoyed the available inside garage parking during the snowfall with emergency equipment being available such as chains, salt, shovels, etc. This rental is walking distance to a good grocery store and a sledding / tubing slope. 15-20 min from Stateline. Nice job, Sean. This place is gorgeous and well maintained.

This was a great place for a snow vacation for a family getaway. We had plenty of space, the amenities were great (hot tub and sauna both working fine) and the location can't be beat. It was within walking distance of the lodge and shuttle to Bear Valley ski area, but also private and with an off-in-the-woods feel especially in the winter. It's got all the basics you need and the host is very responsive to questions.

Chris was an awesome host, and his place was amazing! Our group of six adults was extremely comfortable, and the house had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location was fantastic—near the lake and only 15 minutes from Heavenly, where we spent a great day skiing. The home was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of activities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck. We loved the balance this location offered, with easy access to town, skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, tubing, and great bars and restaurants. Chris was super easy to communicate with and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We had an incredible trip and would absolutely loved this place!

Everything was great and accurate with the listing posted. There are a few restaurants and grocery store really close by. The village and snowboard mountains were a short distance away.

Stayed here for a ski trip, convenient price/distance ratio and let us avoid the crowds of South Lake on a very busy weekend. Place was a great size, slept comfortably. Had everything needed to cook some small meals, and while appliances were dated they did the job just fine. Recommend bringing salt, pepper, oil etc as none is provided. Coffee filters were though! Courtney reached out a few times to make sure we were satisfied, very friendly and had great recommendations for the area. Would gladly stay at any of her properties again.

Amazing location steps from lift. Very nice place and a legitimate private apartment. Ed is a very accommodating host and gave me transportation to and from the airport at a reasonable rate. I would definitely return.
