Monthly Rentals in Alkborough

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Lee and Tess were so friendly, and made us and our dogs welcome. The space was clean and comfortable, the bed was more comfortable than my own, I've never been able to say that before! Would thoroughly recommend to all.

We had a lovely comfortable stay at Holly Cottage. Simon was a great host and met us and showed us around on arrival. He left a bottle of wine, fresh flowers and lots of provisions. The cottage was tastefully decorated for Xmas and it was nice to have a Christmas Tree all set up. The cottage was clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a home stay away from home. The village is charming and has plenty of nearby amenities and lovely riverside walks. it is ideal for dog walking too. Thank you Simon.

We arrived late at Judith’s place and were greeted with a welcome note and a selection of sweets as Judith and her husband were out. On their return they knocked on to check that we were alright and that we had everything we needed. Judith’s place has everything you could need even down to a couple of ready meals I the freezer in case you can’t get food. Judith and her husband were in good contact letting us know of local pubs, places to eat and where to shop. The accommodation itself is neat, tidy and very cosy and the bed is comfy. The WiFi signal is excellent and we didn’t encounter any issues whatsoever. The village is lovely, quiet, peaceful and has access to lovely walks along the river banks. We needed a quiet, relaxing, peaceful break and that’s exactly what we got. Thank you so much and we will definitely be booking again
