Hotel vacation rentals in Alajuela Province

My family loved the cabin, it was very clean and comfortable. The exterior is very nice and the pool with that view takes advantage of a lot, nice sunsets 👌🏼 the excellent attention.

William was very helpful. We rented a car from William for two weeks before coming to Ruta Verde, William met us at the airport with the car. We traveled throughout Costa Rica before finishing our trip at Ruta Verde. William drove us to the airport for our flights home. From Ruta Verde we were able to take a day trip drive up to Poas volcano and to the Koda coffee plantation. William cooked a delicious breakfast for our group on both of our mornings. We had some vegans in our group and he accommodated their needs. Overall Ruta Verde was a great value.

We had a great stay! The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. The setting was serene and beautiful. We enjoyed the farm tour and learning all about the chocolate industry. And of course the chocolate was delicious!

If you want remote beauty, this is it! It was so tranquil. We loved lying in the hammocks and listening to the sounds of the birds and the river. Having a kitchen to use, and space to spread out and enjoy ourselves was so relaxing. Johanna was so kind and helpful! She helped us know what was going on with a road closure and gave us alternative ideas when needed. We would highly recommend staying here!

Our stay at finca Camino was wonderful and beyond our expectations. The beautiful energy on the property is immediately captivating - the views are incredible of green lush valleys , majestic mountains and sea beyond . It’s a short and scenic drive to activities or amenities . The rooms are comfortable , spacious and decorated with thoughtful art pieces and private balconies . The communal spaces are inviting and there’s always a friendly face to chat with ! Don’t miss out on the excellent meals freshly made from scratch in abundance. A highlight for us was hanging out with our kids in the treetop rope nest which is an extraordinary experience . With the pool , hot tub and waterfall trails there is no need to even leave Keith’s property as all the magic that monteverde has to offer is captured privately and peacefully in this one special spot ! Lastly we are so grateful to Keith and his team for welcoming us with such warmth and in turn creating beautiful memories for our family

I am very grateful for our stay. the place was situated in a beautiful canyon, was a good value with a robust breakfast, access to games and nearby attractions like a wildlife reserve. Dave was friendly and helpful and when we left my 3 year old sons cherished stuffed animal behind he arranged for it to be hand delivered to us 2 hours away at no fee. such amazing service, I'm so grateful. a great place to stop by especially if you have a family, want attached but extra rooms and are flying in or out of SJO

Wow, what a treat it was to stay in this beautiful villa! We were a group of 4 adults, 1 teen & 1 baby, and the home gave us all enough room to stretch out and relax. The beds were so comfortable, the whole place decorated impeccably, and the pool & backyard were awesome to chill out and unwind. We loved that we were able to walk across the street for a chocolate & coffee tour, and it was a quick drive to hot springs resorts, zip lining & plenty of restaurants. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive to all of our questions, and were quick to help with a maintenance request. We’d recommend BAUMA to anyone and we’d love to come back here for a future visit!

This place is amazing. The entire property is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was large, perfectly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Great little place. Loved the jacuzzi overlooking the volcano. Not as bad of a drive as everyone is saying, if you come from the La fortuna direction.

What a wonderful place!...a heavenly escape surrounded by trees and mountains overlooking a peaceful valley...the huts are beautiful, spacious, clean, with everything you need and a fantastic view right from your bed;) in the morning you can get up and jump straight into the pool, chill in the hammock and get a sun teint on the deck. Breakfast made by peggy was delicious and the hospitality greatly appreciated. I even got to go to a farmers market with her and anna and they had loads of recommendations and helped me out where they could...i am very grateful..if you have the chance to stay here dont hesitate..it is such a relaxing place ca 30min from the airport and great value...aloha

Thank you for just a little comment maybe updating your reservations because we had found it the first time and because the guy at the front desk told us that we didn't have a reservation I picked up 1 more hour while I had found the first time and my reservation air b and b had not entered your system but otherwise everything was perfect thank you

such a nice garden and we enjoyed the pool table and the table football, it was really nice to have things to do as the weather was pitiful. Victor was really friendly and welcoming

100% recommended, place to connect with nature , super comfortable room, super clean and modern, we loved the privacy. Cindy and her husband as hosts 10 out of 10, friendly , attentive , every query or need they were there to help us , the space for the super cute campfire, the restaurant has an amazing view and is delicious as well as breakfast. We loved it, would definitely go back…

This place was soooo stunning and absolutely beautiful. The staff were so helpful, so sweet. The place as magical and peaceful. It’s very close to a waterfall down the road. Would highly recommend. It’s off the beaten path but a great way to start the trip.

Great hostel in a great location. Met a lot of cool people here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One staff member that really stood out was Nina, she was super friendly and helpful and so nice! The bathrooms/showers were so clean and pretty.

We had a wonderful time at this place. So nice to come back to after a long day. Peaceful, beautiful view!! Mercedes was very welcoming and took very good care of us. Would def recommend especially if you have kids.

we loved our studio apt. it was an excellent, efficient design with TV and terrific hot water. the full refrig and great little kitchen was great. francisco is a wonderful host and a pleasure to deal with. we highly recommend this place. it is an excellent value.

The hosts, Pierre & Nuria, are very polite, kind, accommodating, nurturing, and understanding. They are just as beautiful as the place you rent. The place is perfect for a quaint couple or an individual looking to be surrounded by nature and within arms length of the hustle n bustle. I walked everywhere but a moto or car is recommended as the terrain can be steep. Ciudad Colon is filled with everything you need and an Uber is easy to get anywhere else. Certainly use Google Maps when coordinating from Airbnb with Uber. The hosts and location is perfect for a romantic getaway or for an individual needing time for introspection. This place and these people became a home away from home to me.
