Fantastic cosy little cretan house. Its simplicity and rural location really makes you feel like you are local living there. We had some great bbqs and it was very quiet. you definitely need a car to get here and do shopping as there is very little shops in the area. Tonia was very welcoming and kind.

One of the best AirBNBs we've stayed in; great location with wonderful views and very peaceful surrounded by olive groves. The Villa is full of character and personal touches, and an ideal location to visit Knossos and Heraklion. Minas was more than helpful, providing suggestions for activities and places to eat. Only small draw back is the narrow/steep ascent from Kato Archanes, but Minas provided clear instructions about how access via the best route.

The apartment is in reality even nicer than on the pictures. It is very well equipped, even the kitchen. Moreover it's nicely located as the house is in the middle of an olive farm outside of archanes and only a 20 minute drive to Heraklion. Silvia is also a very great and kind host who helped us a lot when my wife had an accident while hiking. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come back another time.

This place is a gem. Muriel brings the original spirit of Airbnb in which the host makes sure their guest has the best experience possible. Muriel gave great recommendations for the local area which is filled with peaceful beaches and hikes, even in the high season. I recommend Listis Beach in particular for snorkeling and jumping off rocks. You will definitely need a car to reach this place. Be careful on some of the local roads as it may switch to gravel and the lanes are narrow. The advantage is that there are few cars down here. You have the entire ground floor, and it very spacious and tastefully decorated. The stone walls keep the heat out in summer which is great. Of course, Muriel always checked on me. Muriel and her husband would occasionally give me delicious watermelon and other produce, and I was invited to a dinner for a wonderful home cooked meal. Although I stayed there for a month, I wished I could stay longer, and I would definitely stay there again. Cheers to Muriel!
