All around it was a really nice place to stay. - very tasty food, the dinner is highly recommended there (100 DH per meal) - Clean and modern room - Mohamed was very hospitable and even gave us a guide for the Monkey Fingers and Dades Gorge recommended - Mustapha was our guide to the Monkey Fingers and Dades gorge. We were on the road with him for about 5 hours and paid a total of €40. It's really recommended. (YouTube: Marocco Geography Vlog). In December, it's really hard to warm up the rooms. Unfortunately, we only had one electric radiant heater that heated the room to 17 degrees. Mahamed then gave us another blanket. So remember to bring thick clothes. (We had them too, but it was still very cold)

We spent three nights here and were sad leaving. The area is peaceful, pure and beautiful. The mother of Lahcen and his niece are wonderful cooks. The view is great, the common room has a fire going through winter. We took an electric blanket with us (it was end December early January) which is nice for the night for my eight year old daughter. But with the sun shining during the day it was a very comfortable temperature. My daughter made friends in the neighborhood. We both recommend it!

Excellent, the house is beautiful, the view of the city is superb. The best Tajine of our carefully prepared stay! Soufian is very friendly and attentive! I would recommend this place 200%!

As you drive in close to this wonderful family's home, you could be forgiven for assuming the accommodations might not be what you'd hoped for. The surrounding ruins don't inspire. However, once inside, the warm welcome and high caliber renovations will convince you that you've made a good choice. Abderrahman is a wonderful host and his son and wife partake in servicing your needs and making you feel comfortable. Be sure to accept the available home cooked meal. The cooking is great. A great, authentic cultural experience not to be missed!
