Monthly Rentals in Aiello Calabro

Fiumefreddo Bruzio is a beautiful town full of cats and panoramic views (none more panoramic than outside your front door). The house is cozy and Erika is incredibly responsive and helpful with tons of suggestions of activities. She also left us incredible homemade breakfast pastries, olive oil from her own trees, and mandarin oranges from her trees. I should not that the place is very small. The main room (besides the kitchen and bathroom) is not much larger than the bed itself. This was fine for us as we were there in transit and explored most of the day. And I suspect in warmer months it is even better and more spacious feeling as you can open the kitchen door onto an outside space too where you can bring a 2nd foldable table.

There aren't words to describe how magical my stay was. This is truly an ancient fascinating building with many unique details. It was like taking a trip to the past. Although some features are a bit rustic, overall there is a luxurious feeling to the apartment, with a firm bed, lovely linens, curtains, and furniture. the view of the town and sea are incredible and the centro storico (historic center) of the town is full of little paths to follow so you can admire the beautiful architecture. There is a little market for groceries, a post office, and a gelateria/restaurant with tables outside and inside. just a lovely, lovely place. The hosts are kind and generous, available to help with information or if you need something.

Rosalba and her family members were extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location was absolutely breathtaking and her home was beautiful, comfortable, and made our time spent in Calabria so special! Thank you, Rosalba!

I was reluctant to write anything as I selfishly wanted this place to be a secret but obviously that is ridiculous. I got there at night so I couldn't see any views ect but when I woke up opened the door I was in heaven. I will be taking my family at some point in the future. also I arrived late and to my suprise I was offered dinner at €25 4 course of home grown veg meat wine ect. very simple (I LOVED THIS PLACE)
