Monthly Rentals in Abbeystead

I spent a wonderful four weeks in this beautiful, historic home in Galgate. The house is spacious, fully equipped with everything one might need – from a dishwasher to a full range of kitchen utensils – and just a pleasant 20-minute walk from the university. The host was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and patient, even offering a mid-stay cleaning and fresh linens without being asked, which I truly appreciated. One of my favorite parts of the house was the sunroom, where I enjoyed peaceful meals while looking out at the lovely garden. I often saw a little robin hopping around for food, and occasionally, the neighbor’s cat would stroll by for a visit – it all felt serene and quietly poetic. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming place to call home, even if just for a while.

A really relaxing & beautiful stay! The lodge was spotless & absolutely perfect for the two of us and our little pup 🐶 Milo absolutely loved the garden. I've stayed at Jane's airbnb before so i knew everything would be perfect for my stay and for my friend, Janes airbnb is in a perfect place for my stay, near the station and the main part of the town but set back from the road so very peaceful, truly an oasis of calm, The accommodation was spotlessly clean,cosy, and the heating was set to a lovely warm temperature as its still quite chilly in March...we were very happy and comfortable. Jane's stay has a well equipped kitchen with new pots and pans and plenty of crockery and cutlery making it easy to prepare meals if you want to eat in. I would recommend Janes stay to others who are looking for a cosy and comfortable airbnb which is also practical and has all the amenities needed whilst away from home.

So glad we found this place. Lovely spacious cottage, check in was a breeze. Great to turn up and find the heating on, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, plus other basics supplied. Great location for getting in to Lancaster or to the coast. Ruby 'the excitable Spaniel' even put in a couple of appearances. We'd definitely recommend & will return at some point.
