Waterfront vacation rentals in Yeongok-myeon

First of all, it was the actual accommodation as shown in the photos. Most importantly, the surrounding landscape was the best. There is Sokcho Sea in front and Seoraksan in the back. The East Sea that came into the accommodation in the morning was spectacular. Also, it was good for traveling because Sokcho Market and Abai Village were close, and everything was convenient, including parking and convenience stores in the same building.

Great value for what we got, the location is only 10+ mins drive to YONGPYEONG ski resort, there are plenty of restaurants 2 mins away. The house is spacious for what it’s worth, especially the living room, very clean! We did inform the owner that the 3rd bedroom is definitely not queen sized (as described), it was more of a king single so 2 people could not fit on the bed. So hopefully the owner changes the description of it. Other than that, the owner had fast response and let us know we were able to use the extra mattress in the cabinet. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely place and I’d recommend this place to anyone! :)

We only stayed for one night, but it was absolutely lovely! The place was exactly as described—super clean, cozy, and with a beautiful view. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for a quick getaway. The host was really nice and very responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I went with my mom, and it was the same as the photos, and it was nice. I was worried that it was hard to find the parking lot behind me, but it wasn't difficult.

The location is so good that you can reach the lighthouse beach in 1 minute on foot. There were many restaurants and cafes nearby, so it was easy to go for a meal or coffee. 🏡 Home environment & comfort It was soundproofed, so I was able to rest quietly. The bed was really comfortable, so I slept well. There were plenty of towels prepared, so I used them without lacking anything. It was just where I needed the things I needed, so I felt sensible. Ease of 👥 use It's great to stay alone and there's no inconvenience for two people. Overall, the room was clean and well organized. The bathroom was hotel-class, tidy, and nice to use. (There is no bathtub, but it wasn't uncomfortable.) 💰 Value & Host It would be 2-3 times more expensive to see this ocean view from the hotel, but the value is really good. The host kindly guided me, so I had no trouble using the accommodation. Garbage has to be disposed of directly on the first floor, but it wasn't difficult because the location was shown. Total 💯 Reviews I stayed for a week, and my companion was really happy with it. 200% willing to revisit! It was a great place to stay that I want to come again next time.

Great house for a holiday by the sea, will go again ~

It's my first time staying in a downtown area. You can use the market on foot. The accessibility was very good ~ It was so clean and comfortable ~

I had a good stay here on a family trip! The location of the accommodation is close to all the things to do in Gangneung City, so you can get around in about 10 minutes by car. The accommodation was clean and well organized~ The accommodation is on the hillside, but there is a convenience store at the entrance of the alley, so I think you can buy urgent things at the convenience store.

Such a beautiful house! The stay was as described and Chilly was super helpful and responsive in giving us recommendations for the area and making sure we knew how to operate the heated floor. Everything was clean and we appreciated the full sized bath towels. Watching the rain fall in the private yard was very relaxing. Highly recommend staying here!

It's so pretty and clean! I'm the kind of person who cares most about cleanliness when choosing a place to stay, and it smelled good and the tableware and bedding were clean. Gangneung was very cold on this trip, but as soon as I entered, it was warm, so I had a great time from check-in to check-out! It's a place I want to go again next time if I go to Gangneung.

I went with my parents, and the room conditions were good and it was a good choice. It wasn't a neighborhood with hanoks like Hanok Village, but I felt that the host put a lot of care into it so that I could feel the unique feeling of hanoks. I'll go again next time if I get a chance..

I was worried because there were no photos of the bathroom, but it was spacious and nice! However, the soundproofing was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't a big problem, and the atmosphere was nice, and there was a promenade around it, so it was convenient to walk to the lake! It was a very satisfying accommodation!

The host was kind, and it was a great place to stay with lots of advantages, like being able to grill meat at night! The location was also close to Gangneung Station, and the area was quiet. However, it seems a little difficult to get around without a car.

She was always responsive from times of trouble.This is close to the sea, so I went to the sea every day.The Korean sea was really beautiful, the weather was blessed, and it was a great trip. On a rainy day, the host even brought me an umbrella, which was very helpful and full of humanity. I would love to stay here again when I go to see the sea.Thank you very much.

The sea was right in front, and there was a convenience store and Daiso nearby, so it was very convenient! The house was nice because it was tidy, and there was a washing machine and a dryer, lots of dishes, and two dryers and two irons. It was really nice. It's a great house for a family of 4-6 :)

This is my second visit. I came the last time and I liked the location, so I came again this time. It's a new building, so it's clean and the location is my favorite. There were plenty of bedding and a table to sleep on the floor, so it was nice to pack several food and eat it. The TV didn't have a live broadcast, but that was a bit of a shame. Overall, it was a great place to stay ~ ~

It was a lodging I booked in a hurry, but at this price, this lodging…! It's so neat and almost like a drug bed. Good accessibility and I had a comfortable stay:) They also supported the parking fee.. I want to use it every time I come to Sokcho. Thank you.🥰

The host is very kind. It was nice that the room was cleaner than I thought. And it was warm, and the smell was well taken care of. Probably because of the candle. The atmosphere is good as a mood, and it's 2 tandem seats. There was a warm water issue in some of the comments, but it just came out so well:) It could be an ambush. Shampoo, conditioner, skin, lotion, toilet, hair dryer, and towels were also very carefully prepared, so it was very convenient. It was nice to have a garbage bag or food waste bag in case of eating. The only downside is the bathroom! The space inside is small, so you can't hang clothes or towels. Even if it's a little high, I think it would be more convenient to put a towel rack on it as a sealant!

It's a cozy, comfortable, and great place to stay. I often come to Sokcho, and it was a great place for me to find a place that wasn't crowded, other than the busy beach or around Cheongcho Lake. Most importantly, the location and view are the best! It is a perfect location with the lighthouse beach 1 minute away, Yeongrang Lake promenade 3 minutes away on foot, and the sea fully visible and the sound of waves heard from the window. It's the best for those who prefer Airbnb over hotels, those who like quiet and cozy accommodation, and those who like to space out while looking at the view outside the window. The surroundings feel more like a local residence than a tourist destination, and most of the amenities such as restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores are within walking distance. The building itself is old, but this house has been remodeled, so the interior, bed, bathroom, and kitchen are all neat and pleasant. (The frame in the picture is the point!) I could feel the host's sensibility and care in the tableware, slippers, flower pots, and books. He informed me about nearby restaurants and cafes in detail and kindly answered my questions. This is a place I would like to visit again soon!

It was a very nice, spacious apartment especially for the price. However, it was slightly out of the way and a good walk from the centre.

The place looked really nice, easily accsible to the rest of the city via bus stops or even walking. Would book here again if I had the opportunity to visit Sokcho again

I love to travel, so I've been to a lot of different places around the world. Among them, my friend's house is a place where you can feel comfort, warmth, a wonderful view, items that show careful consideration, and the kindness of the host will be remembered for a long time. I like Sokcho, and I want to stay again next time I travel to Sokcho. I stayed for 3 nights, but it was so nice that I wanted to stay a few more days. Some people said the building was old, but I personally didn't think so! I had a very, very good rest. :)
