Guesthouse vacation rentals in Yarra River

This was one of the most special AirBnB experiences we have had. The house has a 'WOW' factor, so tastefully done with a beautiful cozy backyard. Gius was very friendly and gave clear instructions for check-in, which were super easy to follow. His warm touches leaving bread, milk, butter, wine etc. was so thoughtful and welcoming and he also left some great local recommendations for us to consider during our time in Yarra. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful house and were sad we planned a stay for only 2 nights, we will certainly be back. Thanks Gius for such a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay for a night ready for an early flight from the airport. Plenty of space and Elena gave clear helpful instructions. Will stay again.

We had a 3 night mini vacation, with our dogs. Jolene was a super host, and accepted our 3 dogs to stay. We spent most of the time at the dog beach, and the accommodation was exceptional for us with a secure undercover concrete outdoor space (where we spent almost all of our time). The unit was bigger than I expected and had everything you need. A few reviews commented on the noise, but it really isnt an issue (and im a light sleeper). We shared the space with son and partner and there was plenty of room. I would definitely stay again, so many great dinning options, and literally accross the road is beach access. For our personal stay it was to take the dogs to the off leash dog beach, which is only 5 min down the road, so perfect location, easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay, and i did get to meet Jolene and she was extremely welcoming and made us all feel right at home. Highly recommend, and as reviews have said, yes the shower pressure was amazing, especially after beach day

Lovely, secluded getaway within arms reach of activities and beach views! Loved meeting Helen and her dog Jack! Bed was a bit too firm for me but may suit others. Loved the extra amenities provided (toiletries/tea bags and breakfast food). Thanks again Helen!

The cottage is lovely, located on a beautiful quiet property owned by Yvonne and Bernie, 2 great hosts, very friendly and welcoming people!. It was our second visit there and if we can we’ll stay there in the future again! 5 star ⭐️ hospitality! Thanks

Lindsay and Eral lived up to the superhost name. We had everything we hoped for and every question we had was answered. The accommodation is in a beautiful area and the grounds were stunning. We’ll be back!

Place was perfect for a one night stay and all amenities were great. Anne made sure the A/C was on before we arrived, and provided clear instructions for check in/out. Highly recommend

I stayed for a month as I was working in the area. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The only limitation is no stove or oven so that does limit cooking ability. Great laundry facilities, bathroom, off road parking, and thoughtful considerations such as electric blanket. Trains do go past late and early. I think they are commuter trains so you may want to take earplugs if you are easily woken. Easy 10 min drive into Frankston. All the shops you need a few minutes drive away - supermarkets, cinemas etc. Great place to stay if you need to work in the area and need more then a motel room. Also Frank was very good at letting me know if someone else was staying in the other Air BnB at the property so I was aware of other guests. However I never saw anyone so I felt like I had my complete privacy.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! The room was absolutely perfect – clean, cozy, and designed with care. The highlight for us was the massive TV, which truly felt like a cinema experience. It was such a treat after a day of exploring. What really stood out, though, was the generous offering of complimentary supplies – everything from chocolates and coffee to ice creams and muesli bars. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel extra special. The space itself is stunning. Being a converted schoolhouse gave it such a unique and cool vibe, blending charm and modern comfort seamlessly. And the location? You couldn’t ask for better! Right in the heart of town, everything we needed was just a short walk away. This was a fantastic stay, and I can’t wait to come back!

Silje place was a beautiful location, amongst the birds and the trees, super close to forest glade gardens and a great launching spot to all the surrounding areas. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday in and around mt Macedon and had an amazing time, having a tranquil and quiet place to rest at night after exploring all day was just what we wanted. Can’t thank Silje and her family enough for having us stay at their place, we had a great time

Beautiful, clean apartment, walking distance to the centre of Mornington and so close to Mills beach. I stayed here with my parents for a couple of days at Christmas and it was just what we needed. Easy to find, off street parking and lovely touches left by the host. Very well equipped, would definitely recommend.

The historic studio cabin absorbs the tranquility of a beautiful exotic garden that merges into the majestic native forest of Sweetwater Creek. It is absolutely worth the 50 metres walk from the free street parking and 13 stairs! We didn't see the koalas but were cackling with kokaburras at dawn and sunset from the very private deck. In around 50 airbnb stays it is very rare to have bed side windows you can leave open to see the stars and feel the sea breeze. Privacy and comfort is so appreciated after a long trip, busy day and the bustle of the tourist season. Great communication from the super host. I hope this gem is available when we next return.

This studio was perfect for our family of three and could easily accommodate 4. It has pretty much everything you need for enjoying a holiday to take in the surrounds and visiting Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale.

The studio is part of two studios that are next to each other. While you can hear a bit through the walls, the studios are well separated and leave you your privacy. In front of the studios is a large garden that is a nice sight through the large windows. The studio has all the amenities we needed: A kitchen to prepare breakfast and occasional dinner, a dish washer and a washing machine. It is big enough for a family of four to sleep comfortably.

Denise place was lovely and really easy to get around Melbourne by due to it being in a good location not too far from the city. It is close to a tram line and 2 train stations all going to the city. The loft/ studio was clean and had everything you needed. Denise really put thoughtful touches to the place. She was friendly, helpful and was responsive. I would highly recommend.

Such a cute little spot! Very relaxing little place for a weekend away. Perfect for a couple of nights to get away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and tucked away but close drive to plenty of shops etc. Well worth it! Thanks for having us

I have stayed at Vicki's place many times before and she is truly a superhost. Helpful, approachable, proactive and looks after ever detail of your stay. The guesthouse is comfy and cozy and has everything you need. I would 100% recommend a stay at Vicki's and already have another stay booked myself.
