Immaculate experience for my family! From day one to checkout everything was flawless and we could not have been happier with our little getaway weekend. Our host (Kim) was so warm-hearted and hospitable. Check in was super smooth and she helped us do a quick walk through of the property and showed us how to use electronics, bath, headed floors, etc. I've been to MANY AirBnBs in Japan, and I can easily say this was one of our favorite experiences. As a family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 kids; ages 9,6,2), everything was really easy for us. We had no issues finding the place as it's right behind thier restaurant. Inside the place it was so cozy and designed to be super relaxing. GREAT private area, HUGE bath with Fuji water, and nice sauna to relax in after a quick workout or Yoga session on the back patio. I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation at thier restaurant too; delicious! Set Menu and separate kids menu was awesome. Lastly we loved seeing the fireworks out by the lake! Amazing!!!!!

We had a nice time there. It’s a beautiful home, not at the main road, but right next to the forest. It’s easy to reach in a 5 minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko station or a quick taxi ride. Thank you!

Very clean and warm welcome.

It was a very clean and nice place to stay!! The kids were also obsessed with playing around!It was very cold and we couldn't play outside much, but the zip line was something for adults to enjoy. The kids enjoyed it like a pool in a very large bathtub.It was very clean, the hair dryer was Dyson, iron, and it was a pleasant facility for women ^ ^ Parking is also easy.However, when I took the google map navigation, I went through a difficult road and went with two cars, and both of them scrubbed the bumper...!There is a road that can go straight up along the lake, so I recommend checking the navigation road before heading there. It is a really beautiful and nice place to stay.Thank you ^ ^

Very elegant place with exceptional taste of interior design! Love the amenities as well very surprised. Convenient store is around the corner too! Highly recommend this place to others!

If your Japan travels include Hakone, Lake Ashi and Mt Fuji, this spot is a fantastic base. Kayo's home is well-appointed, the beds are comfortable, the shower is great and the deck in the morning sunshine is very relaxing. Our only regret is that it was too wet during our stay to hike the trails that are literally behind the house.

The stay was so quaint and had great all around views (shinkansen and train tracks were at the perfect distance not to be too nosy, but also visible)! Loved the peacefulness of the surrounding area and ocean. The locals were SO much fun as well! Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a little get away from the busyness of city life.

The place was grea, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Easy access to the main station from which you can explore the attractions. Also we got good recommendations on places to eat from the host. We really enjoyed our time here!

This Airbnb rests atop a peaceful hill that was a short and healthy exercise upward. The station was very close by and goes both east and west toward Hakone and Odawara within only 10 minutes. The Airbnb had all the amenities and more; we felt at home immediately checking in! Host was helpful, proactive, and welcoming with their messages and communications!

The property is on top of a hill and will need to walk a bit.But the view is beautiful.This room is equivalent to three separate rentals of one villa, but separate from each other.The host was very kind and responsive.Overall good.

Very nice spot tucked away in hakone outskirts, brilliant restaurants around. I thought there was going to be a couch but there was not, but all is okay. Place is a little bit dated but fits the vibe!

I really liked this house! The decor has a Japanese-style touch, and both the room and living area are beautifully designed with a great ambiance. The space is very spacious, especially the balcony, which offers a truly stunning view. We were lucky to have great weather during our stay, allowing us to enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. The location is right on the most famous scenic street, making it perfect for families or a group of friends. The place is well-equipped with ample amenities, making us feel right at home. The host was also very friendly and provided clear instructions, making it easy for us to find the entrance. There is also parking available, which was very convenient for our self-driving trip.

Really very good experience for a stay!! If you want to stay here if you want to go to climb Mt. Takao, the host is very warm and responsive, and the accommodation is still better to find the trip basically by bus to the station is more convenient!The room is very cozy and quiet at night. I want to stay here next time I have a chance🎶
