Becky’s property was a great place to spend our weekend. The home was easy to find and check into. The home had a great backyard patio and very large hot tub. The game room in garage was a great way to kill some time. The home had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and everything else you could think of. Becky was super friendly the whole time. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. This cabin getaway is just amazing! Plenty of space that still feels so cozy. The views are gorgeous, especially with snow. My two-year-old loved all of the toys and fun things to do in and around the cabin. The kitchen had almost anything you could need for cooking, and the hosts even offer some food and supplies so you don't have to go to the (fairly far away) store. Jim tried to anticipate our every need for us, our toddler, and even our dogs. He was also incredibly responsive and helpful! Definitely recommend an AWD vehicle or snow chains/tires in the winter. Fantastic spot to get away from your busy life and spend time with whoever joins. We're already planning our next visit to Hummingbird Hill!

Desert Aire Getaway!

Steve & Peggy's home in Matawa was neat, clean and uncluttered and easy to settle into. The three bedrooms are spacious, there's a larger central area open to the kitchen. Easy to park in the garage. A nice view of the river from the home. We didn't cook but the coffee pot was perfect! A short walk away is access to the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. There is a level trail along the river. We walked this both days we were there. Nice walk, birding opportunity and easy exercise. If you go north, the trail is paved. Going south the trail becomes gravel. Both directions are good. Communication was great, emails questions were answered promptly, and we had check in information a few days ahead. We left a pair of shoes, and Steve and Peggy have been great arranging a way for us to pick them up. Very kind and easily arranged. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this listing. Thank you.

Once you have stayed here, you will want to come back! The Ranch House is cozy, comfortable, and has all the comforts of home. We like this stay because there is plenty of space and a fully appointed kitchen -- this makes it easy for us to enjoy time together over a meal. Heather, Andy, and family are responsive and helpful if needed and know the local communities well so have great recommendations if you need them! Had an amazing time staying here for a winter trip. The living space/kitchen setup was amazing and feels very cozy. The view was amazing whether being in the cabin or outside on the deck and even in the hot tub. Would definitely love to book again in the summer and go on scenic hikes.

Misty’s place is a great choice for a home base while attending a concert at the Gorge. The neighborhood is in a beautiful location and has a convenient shuttle service to and from the concert venue. The house itself has plenty of beds and a really well maintained yard. I would highly recommend staying here when in the area.

We had a very comfortable stay in the cozy cabin, and would 100% stay again! The scenery was beautiful with walking trail along the river. There was plenty of space in the home to feel privacy when needed, and the hot tub was a relaxing place to end the day! :)

Cute place that was conveniently located near the gorge amphitheater. Mornings are beautiful and peaceful there and can walk down to the river! Definitely want to stay again.
