Beach house vacation rentals in Woodgate

Had a great stay while visiting family in Hervey Bay. The house is a great little beach house. Great location with the beach and shops just down the road. We felt very comfortable from the moment we walked in. Thanks again. Luke and family.

From the moment we arrived, my family and I were blown away by the huge yard, modern home with beautiful furnishings, open plan living, and peaceful back deck that opened up onto a playground and the beach! It had all the space and amenities we needed for the 8 of us (including two children, and a dog). As we pleased, we made the 30-second stroll to the secluded beach where we enjoyed walks, swims, and fishing in the sunshine. We were devasted to leave this little slice of paradise and can't wait to visit again!

Thank you Michael for hosting us at your beautiful home and thank you for the gifts you had waiting for us. We were a party of 7 adults and 6 children and had plenty of room. Bath time was a breeze with 4 bathrooms in total. The air conditioning was welcomed on the few hot days we had. The kitchen was spacious and we didn’t need to buy extra things as it was well equipped. Plenty of room for the kids to hang out while adults talked. It was truely a great house and we all agreed it suited us perfectly. Thank you so much.

Jan's place is in a great location, quiet, but walkable to shops, beach, cafe's and restaurants. It's well set up with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home is very spacious with a lovely sheltered outdoor deck and a large garden. Our kids loved the games and books and playing outside and our dog loved being so close to dog friendly beaches and an off leash park.

Luray’s beach house is a spacious holiday home, walking distance to the Woodgate hotel where we attended a wedding. Also walking distance to the beach. 3 bedrooms on the main level plus a main bedroom retreat on the top level. The deck is expansive and caught lovely breezes. It was a relaxing stay.

Loved the location, the quick polite response and the bed was a dream to sleep on!!

Have stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this was the easiest/cleanest yet. Very friendly and responsive hosts and of course K’gari is just a gorgeous, unbeatable location. High recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfect for families—spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The short walk to the beach was a nice bonus, and our kids had a fantastic time both at the beach and swimming in the pool. The town is peaceful, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed our time here.

What an incredible opportunity to stay in such a beautiful house at the back of Kingfisher Resort. Full use of the resort ammenities meant we enjoyed daily swims and dinner out a couple of nights. Kokomo’s kitchen and BBQ Veranda was better than any restaurant on the island though. Our family really enjoyed the Pool Table and air conditioning during the heat of the day. We didn’t turn the TV on once! A great spot to explore the Island. Lake Wabby was somewhere new that we hadn’t visited before and the kids loved riding boards down the dune into the Lake with all the Catfish. We also loved re-visiting the usual places like Lake McKenzie & Eli Creek. We will be back again for sure. And will be recommending to all our friends who wish to come and explore K’Gari.

Was a different stay, the idea of checking out ship container property. Do it. Better than expected. Multi-generational stay from 10 to 80 yrs old; property was suitable and spacious enough for all. The beds were comfortable, including the lounge. Kitchen had everything we needed, with host providing food basics like vinegar and oil etc. Our dogs loved chilling out on the huge deck (open deck, so we used our pet fencing to secure). Deck is little sunny in morning for summer, but perfect rest of day. Be good for winter trip. The little nook upstairs was perfect to have a coffee and look out over the water. Beautiful. The pool was well maintained, and where we spent majority of our time. No issues with the aircon, kept all areas livable (given we went during heat wave we really tested them out). Neighbours were quiet, and no street noise. For the dog owners, the property is not fully fenced. But it is huge for them to run around, as long as recall is good. Humans and pets had a relax 👍

Thank you for letting me and my grandsons and my daughter stay in your home. we had a wonderful time. I left a blow up bed for the pool, hopefully you can use it. The only thing I would say, is to put a hand rail on the pool. It was very hard for me to get in and out. I am hoping to get back to you at the end of the year. Your home was lovely. We had a fantastic stay at Sonya’s “The Nest” it truly felt like a home away from home! The place was spotless, and the thoughtful touches like a bottle on wine on arrival made it extra special. Sonya was an amazing host, always quick to respond and full of great local tips. The Nest’s location was perfect—just minutes from the beach and lovely cafes/restaurants and half hour from Harvey Bay. We especially loved relaxing on the verandah after a day of exploring. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!”

The family had a wedding to attend at Kingfisher Bay Kgari so we booked Rishendas beach house. Everyone felt comfortable, the home was well equipped and plenty big enough for our large group. The views were amazing, the resident kookaburras visited daily. The outdoor dining area with spa and BBQ on the deck overlooking the fabulous views was Amazing. We would definitely recommend Rishendas house and would love to return again for an Island holiday.

Avalon is a great place to visit,as a family we had an amazing time , it’s so peaceful and beautiful, the surrounding is serene and quiet , the house is clean and so comfortable, and our host Fiona was so responsive, and helpful … Highly recommended so much to do ☺️

We had the most magical stay at this stunning property. The house was immaculately clean, spacious, and perfectly located just a short stroll from Archies Beach. The breathtaking ocean views and serene atmosphere made it an idyllic getaway spot. We hosted our surprise wedding here, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. Even with a touch of rain, the appearance of rainbows added a truly magical touch to our special day. Azza & Emily were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and welcoming, ensuring everything was set up perfectly for our stay. The property had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable spaces for our family and friends to relax. We can’t recommend this property enough for anyone looking for a relaxing beachside escape, It’s a place where memories are made!

Chelsea is a friendly host. The house was good for a large group. We enjoyed the tiki bar and having 2 living areas. Toogoom is a very sleepy area so perfect if you are looking to disconnect.

Very few ABNB homes match the description or photos however Sylwia's place exceeded our expectations. The house is large, very large with plenty of space for everyone - we were a family group of 10 and never felt on top of each other - great games room, huge living area and four balconies to choose from. The house was exceptionally clean including the bed linen and towels which was a real pleasure. A spacious kitchen with all mod cons and a clean big BBQ - yes everything is big!!!! The kids loved the kayaks, bikes and fishing rods - everything has been thought through and provided - including the safe beach which is a short safe walk away. Thank you Sylwia for offering us your home which provided a wonderful holiday - 6 STARS.

Gary and Julie were the best Airbnb hosts we’ve ever had. They took care of every detail and nothing was ever too much to ask. They really have thought of EVERYTHING in their beautiful house. So much for the kids to do and eat! They go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. A home away from home and we’ll be back for sure. Thank you 🙏
