Cottage vacation rentals in Winnebago County

We had a wonderful time with our family at Sandra's place. Sandra and Jay were wonderful hosts - responding quickly and very helpful with anything we asked. The lake was absolutely beautiful and so much fun for the entire family.

We had a great time at Cooper’s place while coming into town to visit family ! Very relaxing, We would highly recommend!!

This was a charming and unique place. The grounds are really lovely. It's right on the main road that runs alongside the lake, but we never heard any traffic. Plenty of parking in the driveway, nice size, fully equipped kitchen, and the owner proactively texted me to invite any questions I might have. Easy, manageable checkout tasks. The restaurants right down the street were really good! There isn't a grocery store nearby, but we brought everything we would need so not an issue.

Clean, Comfortable and Cute! We spent a lovely anniversary get-away at the Cottage in Neshkoro. We enjoyed peace & quiet, played the Nintendo, and enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub. Although a smart t.v. was available to us, we opted for a few movies from the VHS selection - it was nice not to be over-whelmed with endless choices that streaming provides. We also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and using the charcoal grill. Loved that we could bring our fur-babies along too. It really felt throw back and brought memories simpler times.

The place was very cozy and hot tub was awesome! The kitchen was fully-stocked and there were plenty of towels on hand.

We can appreciate the historic facility with all its modern updates. Feels like a community with all the other guests. The facility was very clean and well cared for. .The host was very cordial and accommodating. We stayed for only two days for a family wedding, but would definitely like to plan for an extended stay in the future. An affordable place to stay to explore all the opportunities the area has to offer!

Beautiful location, clean water—amazing. Family-friendly for sure, but it was also a lovely spot for me and my dogs to relax after a busy summer. Waupaca as well as the Chain O Lakes area have lots to do. Don’t forget to explore quaint and nearby Rural, Wi. I loved sitting on the pier with my coffee, the patio for lunch, and around the fire pit for dinner. The sunset and stars are always beautiful. Thank you for a terrific escape.

My family had a wonderful stay at Will's cottage. The house was spotlessly clean. The yard was fun for my grandkids and we had plenty of room to eat most of our meals outside. Furniture and beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals. We liked the location and enjoyed the live music across the lake. It was nice to be on a no wake lake where we didn't need to worry about speed boats when the kids were swimming. We would love to come back next year.

What a treasure this quaint family cottage on the hill was! The views and vibe were exactly what we needed to take a deep breath and reset. It was apparent that the family has enjoyed this spot for the over 50 years Lindsay said it had been in their family. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to rent it and make some memories. Our son and pooch LOVED using the paddleboard and cool swim raft from nearly the time we got there to the time we left The water and sand were gorgeous! My husband also caught a really great fish right off the pier. I loved that I could watch all the action from the elevated porch right off the bedroom in a comfy chair with coffee (or wine) in hand. The 44 steps back up from the lake were a good workout too lol. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Lindsay and family!

Thomas's place was perfect for our long weekend in the area. So many positives to share - very clean, cute decor, super comfortable beds, well stocked with everything you need, beautiful new pier, great view of the channel and lake, the list goes on. Most importantly hosts were super responsive to a small need we had. Loved our stay, wish would could have spent more time at the property.

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend thanks to Cheryl’s place. It’s a classic lake cottage with updates that suited us perfectly. Not fancy but rather the kind of place that had everything we needed and wanted. We were so happy that our dog could join us, too. The pond is beautiful and so peaceful. The cottage is clean and welcoming and the kitchen is well equipped. Cheryl was proactive and responded quickly to my one question. I highly recommend it — but only to people who don’t want to visit when we want to go back!

Was a short stay and really wasn’t at the cabin for any amount of time did what we needed it to do would stay again

My honest review.... Bryan's outdoor amenities are what made this place for our trip. The outdoor bar, fire pit (fire wood available) nice grass area for yard games. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, outdoor speakers were very nice and easy to use. I did have an issue with sleeping arrangements once I asked Bryan he did respond and make sure we got correct information. With this being said when I booked this place I guess I didn't look good enough but 1 "twin" bed available is stuffed into a closet that just fits the mattress. Unusable for an Adult in my opinion. Another thing not a huge deal but I've never came across when booking any airbnb is the thermostat was locked, AC never went on at all pretty warm inside with no fans available. All and all us 4 guys had a good time for a Batchelor party. Waupaca is such a nice peaceful getaway!! Thank you Bryan for opening your place up for our stay!!

Excellent place with an amazing view of the Lake and plenty of options to choose from for recreational activities or you can enjoy sitting outside on the patio furniture for a great evening meal.

Good value for 10 -12 people.

Nice, quiet, peaceful cabin on the water. The view was great. The place was rustic and basic but we had everything we needed. We were able to ride our bikes around the country roads, and out into the breakwater there was a whole island of pelicans. It was cloudy all weekend so we didn't catch a sunset, but being able to sleep and wake up with the sliding door open above the water was nice.
