Cabin vacation rentals in Windsor

Bob has a beautiful home that really made our trip to Russian River fun. His place is cozy, well designed, and very comfortable. Bob was very responsive, answered all my questions with diligence and care.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is clean and comfortable, and the setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

It's a lovely home. Very charming, very peaceful. Good privacy. The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and all the instructions were easy to follow. The fireplace, hot tub, koi pond, floor plan, and overall peaceful quality are the highlights here. The critiques I have for this place are: 1. the bed in the master bedroom is a queen at largest and the mattress was too firm for our liking. 2. The kitchen appliances and utensils had not been cleaned very well and I hate to say that because I know a cleaning crew had been there before our stay (I would give them the benefit of the doubt on this topic though, because that was not reflective of the rest of the house which was very nicely set up and clean for our stay). Overall, we had a great stay.

Chads place is exactly as described. A cozy cabin overlooking the river nestled under some redwoods on the side of the hill. It was exactly what we were looking for and there’s a small grocery and super breakfast spot within walking distance. If you like his listing, you’ll love the place! Thanks for having us.

Austin’s cabin in the hills definitely did not disappoint! It was the perfect getaway location to just have a few days to relax away from the city. It was very homey and cute, I loved the art and general aesthetic of the home. Everything was easy to figure out and everything advertised was available. The little hot tub for 2 was the perfect way to relax after hiking some nearby trails.

My family and I had a nice 2 night stay at Kevin’s cabin in Camp Meeker! We had never been to area but it was private, quiet and secluded. The road up is narrow but we got familiar with the drive after arriving. The location is very close to the downtown Occidental area where there are some nice brunch and restaurants. It was also a nice central location to drive to Sebastopol and Guerneville. The cabinet itself was rustic as it was described, but we really enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy fireplace. There was plenty of space for us three and the bed was comfortable too. The host was also friendly and provided plenty of communication and directions ahead of time. Overall, a great stay and would recommend!

The Wine Country Cabin is truly special. From the casual vacation cabin atmosphere to the wonderful outdoor shower, to the excellent jacuzzi and private balcony area, don't hesitate to book it. Terrific location for exploring Napa and Sonoma, but you won't want to leave to cabin due to its relaxing vibes. It is the perfect touch of rustic but comfortable.

This is a lovely cottage in a spectacular location. The cottage is amply sized for a couple or small family, and has a large and well-equipped kitchen, excellent bathroom, and comfortable bedroom. (Note that there is no divider between the bedroom and the rest of the home, so that could be an issue for some, but it was completely fine for us.) The cottage is 50 steps up above the road, so it feels extremely private and has fantastic views. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was just a wonderful experience staying in this cabin on the river in the midst of beautiful redwoods. JENNIFER was just a wonderful host, anytime we had a question she got back to us quickly. It’s a great location with a couple restaurants within walking distance and wonderful small little villages and towns not too far away by car. If you’re looking to get away, this is an incredible value.

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

We were looking for a place that was dog friendly, private and peaceful , in a scenic area and fun for our family of 4. Sweet Creek delivered. We wish we could have stayed longer but the one night we were there was special for our family and Cookie was a super gracious host. Thanks.

Our group of 4 had the best time at The End of Glen. Rafael and his wife were very quick to respond. We had all of the things we needed at the house to cook and have a fun time. The location was great and I'm excited to come back in the summer time!

Whether it’s saying good morning to the hummingbirds that visit the garden every morning, sipping an afternoon cup of coffee while listening to the calming sounds of the creek, or stargazing underneath the California redwoods, our stay at El Manantial has been rejuvenating and magical. We will never forget spending the weekends at the beach, the delicious meals by the fireplace with our dog by our feet, or the amazing hikes all around us. Modernity was never too far away - the wifi/internet is great, nearby shops have everything you would need, and help was always a quick phone call away. Ana is a wonderful and gracious host, and we very much appreciate her letting us experience a part of paradise that is the Sonoma Coast. This is a true jewel.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! It was even better than the photos — the space was cozy, welcoming, and truly felt like home. The location was perfect, just a short 13-minute drive to the grocery store, which made everything convenient. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and I would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful escape!

Russ's attic cabin was exactly as advertised: charming, beautiful, cozy and idyllic. It truly is a treehouse, an attic haven surrounded by redwood and deciduous trees framed in every window. And yet it's surprisingly roomy and bright. It's also close to the river, all the restaurants and cafes in Guernenville and Forestville and the endless vineyards and wineries along Westside Rd. My partner and I spent a wonderful romantic weekend here and it was the perfect venue.

Comfortable place to stay. The neighbors had a rooster that needed tamed, however. I suggest bringing a small fan of you're not used to total quiet, with exception of the rooster lol. While staying there a smoke alarm battery went low and Simon promptly responded to change it out.

Right from the start, everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival and getting situated in the area - the hospitality was radiating from this little town. The cottage was located on the most unique, and beautifully located property in the Rio Nido neighborhood which was about a 20 minute drive west of Santa Rosa. If you are coming the STS airport, or the 101, you take a scenic forest road West are met with plenty of wineries and restaurants nearby. The host were very responsive and near by if we needed anything, and offered free champagne at the bar and a meal at the lodge. There was live music nearby nightly, cute neighborhoods to walk around, take in the scenery and the Russian River that flows through the town - and if you’re into cats there were tons of friendly felines wandering the property looking for pets. Will definitely be coming back as we had such a great time and plan to do a lot more exploring next time!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin on the creek. Great attention to detail. Would love to go back

Our family of four had a great time at Peter and Sean’s cabin. The kids loved the loft and took turns sleeping up there. Our two puppies enjoyed the fenced in yard and we felt comfortable having them there. The location was great! Private and felt secluded but all of the places we enjoy on our visits were close by. The restaurants of Occidental, our favorite coffee shop in Duncan’s Mill, the proximity of the ocean, and the fun of downtown Gurneville. We will definitely be making a return visit in the warmer months.

Great place to stay! We already plan to come back in summer months.
