Whiteface Mountain accommodations

We stayed at Andy’s place for 3 nights during the Empire State Winter Games and had a great experience! The location was close to the Olympic Center/main street and the house was exactly as described- the 3 full bedrooms were a huge plus. Andy also stocked coffee, snacks, and condiments in his kitchen which was a great help during some early mornings! He was very responsive before and during our stay and was flexible with checkin/checkout which we really appreciated- his asks for checkout were also minimal and reasonable. Thanks again to Andy for this great listing, from 3 very grateful figure skaters!

This is a family home that feels just right. We had absolutely everything we needed. The bed (we were in the downstairs queen) was very comfortable. Slept great for almost 2 weeks. Location is of course sublime. Instructions for appliances, heat adjustment, TV, etc. are clearly printed and accessible. Wifi was great. There were only 2 of us and our dog so we didn't use the upstairs - but it looked clean and bedrooms/bathroom very spacious. Some things are a bit careworn but nothing was uncomfortable or incomplete and everything worked great (I covet their toaster!). We made ourselves at home and it was the perfect fit. Having great & timely access to owners is key for a good stay. These owners are the best in communication. THE best. Would recommend for sure.

The house was exactly as described and included more space than we expected. The house is METICULOUS and included everything we needed. Love the fireplace - so cozy for the winter! Lots of space for winter clothing and such. We truly had the most spectacular and magical visit to Lake Placid during the holidays and we found this home to be a perfect base for our family. Absolutely highly recommend!

Beautiful place and happy that it wasn’t right on lake placid as that area can get rather congested. The only down side is that we thought this was more of a private space surrounded by trees based on the how the photos were taken of the property. The neighboring houses were closer than expected. Not a deal breaker, just was a little surprising when we pulled up. Otherwise, fantastic trip!

Erin was easy to communicate with and even allowed us to park at the Airbnb early so we could catch the shuttle to our reunion. Beds were comfy and the place is an easy walk home from anywhere in LP

This is an absolute gem. For years we've been coming to the ADKs and the LP region and we haven't been able to find a place accommodating for our dogs, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Smack in the middle of Ray Brook with equal distances to Saranac and Lake Placid. With Scarface Mt. and the Rail Trail within walking distance, there's plenty to do. The back yard was perfect. My toddler got to experience his first ADK winter and couldn't get enough of the yard and toys. Plenty of running room and space for roaming for our pups. Our son was able to have his own room with a super comfy bed. The living and dining room were great with couches that were just as comfy. The kitchen was perfect, plenty of cooking utensils. Washer/dryer were clutch Sarah and Omega, best hosts we've ever dealt with on Airbnb. Super communicative and responsive. The way they made accommodations for our dogs (90 lb active, snow dogs) made the stay 10 times better. We will definitely be back!

My family had a great three nights at this lovely home. Close to town and very warm feeling as soon as you enter. Loved the space, bedrooms are spaced out in a perfect way. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are beautiful. Shower pressure was amazing! We chose to cook one night and the kitchen was well stocked and space was excellent. Nights spent in front of the fireplace with a cocktail. Just a great home to spend quality family time together. Thank you for having us!

beautiful place right on the river! Lake Champlain and the ferry are a 5-10 minute drive, and you are able to bring your pup with!

Amazing location for skiers - just 4 minutes to the mountain! This is house is well-appointed and so well taken care of. The owners provide everything that is needed for a great stay and everything is in tip-top condition. The hot tub is such an added bonus after a long day of skiing. Would definitely recommend and would most definitely stay again!

Perfect Cozy Retreat Near Whiteface Mountain! Alix’s place was absolutely awesome! The location is unbeatable, just a short drive to Whiteface Mountain, making it ideal for skiing enthusiasts. After a day on the slopes, the cozy and clean atmosphere of the house was the perfect setting for quality family time. The home was well-maintained, warm, and inviting, with everything we needed to relax and unwind. Alix was a fantastic host—responsive and attentive to every detail. If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near Whiteface Mountain, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful . We enjoyed staying at Edin’s very much . We spent a lot of time in the cabin and it was very comfortable and relaxing . He was very responsive from check in to check out process . Allowed for early check in and late check out which was a blessing . Would definitely recommend.

Great secluded location overlooking Whiteface. Couldn't have hoped for a better view and quiet area.

Our group had an incredible stay during our long weekend ladies’ winter hiking and relaxation trip! The house was the perfect size for our group of women, offering plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Everyone absolutely loved the hot tub and sauna—they were the ultimate way to unwind after our hikes. The location was private and peaceful while still being super convenient to the trails we explored, and parking was a breeze with multiple cars. We also cooked most of our meals at the house, and the spacious, well-equipped kitchen made it so easy and enjoyable. It was such a cozy, comfortable spot for a memorable getaway—we’d absolutely stay here again!

Barbara was a wonderful host! She is very kind, thoughtful and accommodating. She made us feel at home and was very helpful. Cant wait to return in the summer! 😊
