Vacation rentals in Whaley Bridge

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely stay. Easy self check in and some goodies to welcome us much appreciated. Very quiet location just 5 minute level walk to centre of Bakewell. Quite a few stairs in property but this was expected and not a problem for us. Pamela always very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Had lovely night stay at honeysuckle cottage, beautiful inside and out very cosy and warm, only a six minute drive to Alton towers which was perfect for me and my family. Free cookies on arrival my boys demolished them straightaway. Would definitely stay again thank you x

Location is absolutely fantastic for Bakewell access. Communication was excellent. Perfect weekend.

We had a lovely stay at the Alders Cottage. I stayed with friends for a trip to Alton towers and we had everything we needed, very cosy and very clean! 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful little place! Booked this for a night with my friend and it didn't disappoint! The place was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The little book with the story of how it started was fab! You've both done an amazing job. Loved the little notes for everything too - so helpful! And the recommendation for Solomon's Temple at sunset was spot on. Thank you both for allowing us to stay. We are already planning to book again soon x

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's cottage, we felt really welcome and at home. Ruth had lots of information about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc and was really responsive to messages. We stayed over Christmas and Ruth had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations which was a really lovely added touch. We had a fantastic break and would definitely stay again.

Lakeview is a dreamy location, in a small Derbyshire village overlooking Carsington Water. It is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Pamela was super helpful, always replying immediately. She was really friendly but not obtrusive. So privacy and peace and quiet was just as I had hoped! The cottage is well equipped and finished to a high standard. I particularly enjoyed the nightly log fires abd felt right at home. I am very much looking forward to a return visit soon!
