Cottage vacation rentals in Western Greece

We had 9 very nice days at Amorosa Villa with 6 adults and 3 children. Pure relaxation. The view is gigantic and the sunrise over Zakynthos is breathtaking. There is a large covered table where you can eat with fantastic views. Also the terrace is very spacious and the children were constantly in the pool. You have sun on the terrace until about 6-7 pm all day. The villa is centrally located in the island and actually everything is reachable in 15-20min by car. Less walking distance. We were on a different beach every day. It takes a maximum of 50 minutes to reach the extreme tip of the island. The daily cleaning was sometimes too perfect, making beds every day should not have been. On the other hand, the daily emptying of the bathroom trash cans is also urgently needed in Greece.

Great host and great place to stay. Less than 10 minutes car ride from Zakynthos, Argassi and Tsilivi. Loved the pool and the lady that comes by to clean the sheets in the middle of the week. No complaints

Fantastic location. Great pool. Very helpful host, fabulous restaurants. Need a car to get around, see whole island. Some furniture is ready for replacement. Attentive hosts and frequent cleaner. Comfortable for 4, 6 would be compromised. Secure, safe and peaceful.

The location turned out to be a great choice, especially for anyone, looking for tranquility and finds hiking in mountainous areas interesting. Very close to Levidi and Vytina, for an excursion by car. The house is very beautiful, equipped with all the necessities and ideal for company with a dog, due to the large garden. The host, was very kind, provided us with all the necessary information and was available even after we left the place. Thank you so much.

From the enchantment of the building, the serenity of the surroundings, breathtaking views and the warmth of the hosts, what a truly magical experience we have had at Gerakomylos one we will never forget. We arrived knowing nothing about Vasilikos and left feeling like we have always known it. Our party ranged from late 40's to mid 20's to 14 years and everyone had such a fabulous time. Michalis treated us like old friends and we sure left feeling like we had made a new one. Michalis is proud of his home and rightly so withh a wealth of knowledge and recommendations he is passionate and thoughtful to your experience. Always at hand should you need him. The area is of outstanding beauty, clean family friendly beaches with taverna's bakeries and supermarkets for everyday convenience. The centre of Zarkynthos is a short distance away offering late evening shopping and plenty of eateries. If you are looking for a truly unique holiday Michalis and Rita's villa will ensure this. Just AMAZING

Dear Leticia and Spiros! We really didn’t want to go home! Their hospitality was outstanding, they were the best hosts we could find!!! Spiros even brought us apple pie, homemade, best we’ve ever had! We loved the quiet atmosphere, the house is completely remote and surrounded by olive trees. Our daughter loved the cats that are in the area, they all had names in the end :-) They waited for us at the church in the middle of the village and brought us to the house. We had snacks and water and wine from them. They showed us around, made sure we got everything we need. It was just perfect. We had the best holiday there! These people just deserve the 5 star rating! See you soon Leticia and Spiros. We will come back soon!

If I could, I would give Soula and the location of their house 6 stars. Soula greeted us kindly, with gifts and homemade food in the fridge. The location of the house was exactly like that, we wished it: very private,right on a beautiful beach with open terrace. We were surprised by the number of rooms - the photos in the ad suggest that there are several bedrooms: The children's room is a bunk bed above the parent bed (in this room is the only air conditioning), another is in the kitchen and the fourth on the terrace.. no problem for us,but just not as expected. The kitchen is well equipped and you will find everything you need if you want to take care of yourself. As for cleanliness, don't look so closely. In any case we would come back!!

We arrived at night. Melina and her husband welcomed us personally and very warmly. The apartment is on the 1st floor. We felt right at home: fresh linens, clean towels, well-maintained interior design, stylish and minimalist decor, clean and fully functional kitchenette. Cutlery, plates, pots everything suitable there, clean, very functional. The bathroom was very pleasant: good water pressure, hot water, nice glass shower cubicle. We originally only wanted to stay 2 nights and then rescheduled and extended! The best part: breakfast in the morning on the small balcony in the bright sunshine. Cozy and cozy space. Everything is spotless and the host is friendly, willing, and with interesting suggestions for the area. All this, combined with the undeniable natural beauty of the area, gave us a perfect weekend as we had imagined it. Gogo, thank you so much for hosting!

One of the best airbnb i’ve been. Very private, very good location close to the beach… Host was super kind and helpful.

We really loved staying at Alex’s place. We arrived during a storm, and he brought us extra blankets for the beds to keep us cosy. Also he gave us some delicious home made cake! On our last day he brought us some more sweet treats. We felt really spoilt. The area is lovely. We explored the nearby island of Lefkada, and visited Mytikas too. The apartment is very well equipped- especially the kitchen, ( Alex is a chef at the local yacht club during the summer season). It was warm and cosy, and we had such a great view from the lounge. We would love to visit again.

Walking into Simone's Airbnb, we instantly felt at home. it has a comfortable feel to it! The house is in a quiet place in an otherwise quiet busy neighboorhood, which is a great mix. It was the top bnb of our daughters this holiday! We can recommend it to anyone!

We had an amazing time in Zakynthos. Vania welcomed us warmly at the house, showed us everything and gave us some more tips for our stay. The house, the beautiful property and the magnificent pool have made for a perfect stay. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and has enough space for 6 people. In the magnificent garden, in addition to very nice seating, figs and lemons were waiting for us directly from the tree. Contact with Vania was straightforward and perfect at all times! We particularly enjoyed the small bay Plaka Beach. There are many small tavernas nearby where you can eat well or take something for in between. We were all very comfortable and would come back to this beautiful cottage at any time.

The stay at the beach house was perfect, it was wonderful to enjoy the sun, beach and sea every day. The amenities in and around the house were good. Location of the house was also good for us close to downtown Pyrgos, Katakolo and Olympia.

Great house with attention to the detail. All what could be necessary is available. The view is marvelous and the host is very kind. I would recommend to everyone who wants to visit Kefalonia.

We had a fantastic holiday here. Before and during the stay communication was friendly & clear. Location is above the village of Kato Katelios with restaurants, bars, supermarkets & ATMs and kid-friendly beach about a 10m walk down (and 15m back up!) a steep hill – far enough away for privacy yet close enough if you want to be more amongst things The Wi-Fi is fine in the downstairs and pool area, but doesn’t work so well upstairs. There's a DVD player in the main room. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s a BBQ outside. The pool is a generous size and perfect for a family to cool off or play in. The aircon works well enough to take the edge off the heat in the main living area (which has lots of glass) and cools the bedrooms very effectively We only had one slight issue after a power cut tripped out the pool pump, but this was fixed within 24 hours of contacting the owners Overall I would highly recommend staying at Villa Anemoni

Had a great time. Very convenient for two families. Was a great base for exploring the Menalon trail and more hikes in the area.

The house was impeccable, in a very good location with nice view. The host is quite welcoming and eager for any help. I highly recommend it!
