The description of the place was completely accurate, and we found everything exactly as it was described. Communication with the host was also outstanding. This was our first stay in Nisbet Tower, which was formerly part of Eyemouth's defence system in warring times. It has been beautifully restored and renovated, a very striking building. The tower is located very close to the astounding rocky coastline on the south side of the harbour. Walking in the area is easy and memorable.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place has the most beautiful view!! Daniela is a phenomenal host! The place is definitely harder to get to without a car, but Daniela went out of her way to tell us what bus to take, the bus schedules and made sure we got off at the right stop! She went above and beyond! It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a week stay — enough towels & linens, pots & pans, paper towels & toilet paper. We loved how much there was to walk to around the place. There is a butcher shop across the street, at least 4 restaurants within walking distance, and a small market with everything we needed. We also walked to the beach many times. There is also a scooter rental place next door that we utilized and that was so convenient and great! It was so quiet and peaceful and all the neighbors are so nice! I just have to mention again how GREAT the views were! We would def come back!! Our only complaints were the amount of flies & how hard the bed was.

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The facilities match the description, it is located in a large and quiet area with a large garden that we took advantage of together with our dog. Unfortunately, due to the dates, the pool cannot be used because of the weather. We used the barbecue and they provided us with utensils. We hope to return in the hot season.

We had an amazing time at the lighthouse! So much to do just on site alone. We wouldn’t even have had to leave to have an incredible time, but we did try out some of the host recommendations for dining and shopping.

A very nice apartment in a central location. We felt very comfortable.

It was fresh in Essertenne, too cold for the season. We did not sit outside and then it is very nice that everything is very well taken care of inside. Two great sofas, a nice bed, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Because it was blowing too hard, we couldn't use the fireplace, we got an extra radiator to warm it up inside anyway. Beatrice tipped us a good restaurant where then enjoyed a lavish Burgundian lunch. In short, we had a nice time at Essertenne!

Very nice area with a great scenery. Loved the country cabin feel to the place and I would recommend it for a weekend getaway for sure!

We stayed at the tower for four of the most relaxing nights. Every positive review is 100% accurate. The recent heavy rains made the river too deep to ford with the Jeep Mark usually provides, so we got to have a bonus adventure as he drove us across in his military truck. He was very responsive, answered our million questions, and came by and filled the water tank for us when needed. The place itself has everything you could possibly need and is down right luxurious for an off-grid place in the middle of a forest. The on-property trails along the river provide just the right mix of outdoors without having to leave. We're so happy and thankful to Mark for providing this wonderful place!

My partner and I started our Azores trip here and it was a really great experience to stay at the mill. The accommodation is very thoughtfully decorated and has everything you need. We were also provided with a small welcome basket with very good treats for breakfast in the kitchen. The view of the sea is beautiful! But I would recommend a not too long stay, as there is very little space. But it's perfect for a weekend!

Perfect home for Harry Potter lovers. Everything for perfect! Will go back. The theater is perfect for a family in evenings.

This place is beyond a place to stay is an experience. Bigger than the photos, 4 levels until reaching the top windows with panoramic view of the town. Fairly clean, heating, washer and dryer separately, bathtub with bath salts. The apartment is very special, it is only missing some instructions for the kitchen appliances and lights to enjoy its full potential. This could be an Airbnb plus!

Terracina is a beautiful town and the location of this Appartment in the historical center is amazing. There arw many small restaurants in the vicinity and the access to the beach ocean is beautiful.

We felt very comfortable! The house is beautifully decorated and if you are looking for a retreat from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. The relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace or the view from the large windows are worth their weight in gold!

We had a very nice stay in the attic. The building is superb, very well renovated and maintained. Frédéric was a great host and advised us on great activities to do in the area. We'll be happy to go back!

A great place for a family holiday. Perfect for teenagers & adults. Elderly guests can stay on the lower floors. Very well kitted out with everything you might need. Would recommend it for 12 people. Also accommodates dogs.
