Cosy cottage, very warm and welcoming. Lovely touch with the yummy pastries for breakfast. The fire was perfect for warming up after a day of hiking. Great location for exploring the local area. 🧀

Alan’s accommodation was very clean, comfortable and warm and in a very pleasant quiet neighbourhood. He was very quick to respond to my email and everything was exactly as he said it would be, the access was well explained and easy to find and use. We would use this accommodation again and would recommend it to others too.

Sara was welcoming , friendly and helpful. Great communication. The parking spot in front of Sara's garage was helpful. Accommodation matched what was listed on site, which was clean and equiped well. Sara added little treats which was thoughtful. The train station was about a 15 mins walk away which was really handy and hassle free for our needs to travel into Cardiff. Highly recommend. Thank you Sara.

I grew up in Sidmouth and know the area pretty well. Ruth's self contained space has most things you will need, and in a great position that you can walk to any part of the main town/sea front. There is off street parking not to be sniffed at, and located just outside the main town centre, so when you either arrive or leave its quick and easy no hassle. A lovely space, great comfy bed. Well stocked breakfast wise, with fridge. Great shower room, with underfloor heating. Nothing too much trouble for Ruth.

Brillant break with Mum too her to her old stomping grounds she felt young again. so peaceful and quiet we both slept like babies so wworth the money.

Super helpful and responsive host, lovely space, right between West Bay and Lyme Regis, so was able to get out to both areas within 10 minutes of Louise's listing. Great walks around the area, lovely grassy area above the unit which when we had a sunset, was a great place to be!

A fantastic place to stay, especially for long stays, very well equipped, really spotless with lovely modern furnishings. We had a wonderful welcome pack of provisions, cakes and the most beautiful flowers. Added bonus of a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Really comfortable large beds. Able to watch Netflix, Disney Channels etc on the installed Now TV box. Felt very safe with the gated entrance. Centrally located and great to be able to walk to the town centre, tennis courts, sports centre and lovely park. Waitrose and Asda also nearby. Andrea was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. This was my third Christmas in the Annex, my mother is in a nearby care home and it is an ideal place to stay and take her to over the break. It is warm, easy to access, and I was able to use the well equiped kitchen to cook her some good meals before taking her back each evening. The bed is very comfortable, so I slept well. The flat is very private, quiet and peaceful. Adele is a very responsive host, without being intrusive, and keeps the place spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is such a relief to have somewhere really cozy and properly set up to take my dear old mum. I highly recommend this place, as you can tell by the way I keep booking it every Christmas!

The Cow Shed, our 3rd visit and still as breathtakingly beautiful. This year's bonus additions for us were the delightful cows , the friendly heron, the swans that came by on our last day almost like a goodbye committee and a fire pit to warm the evenings while marvelling at the clearest skies. Natalie and James, as always, very generous with bread milk and jam , tea and coffee/coffee pods, and excellent at maintaining privacy even though it's an annexed property. An absolute gem !

Louisa, Pete and family were so incredibly welcoming and caring towards us. Not a normal visit, as we stayed for two months for the birth of our first child... Louisa and Pete made us feel at home from the start, being there for us, whilst simultaneously giving us privacy. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. The place is well-equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable and modern. Lympstone is a quaint, English village, with good pubs and a cute cafe. A huge bonus is the access to the cycle/walking path along the estuary. Topsham, Exmouth and Exeter are all close and have their own charms. There's plenty to see in the area - having grown up in Devon, I can attest to this being one of the best locations in south Devon to have a base for exploring. Thanks again Louisa, Pete and family. We had a lovely stay here. Space was clean and comfortable. Really nice space and tranquil village setting. Loads to do in the area be it walking down to the pretty village and enjoying the local amenities, walking/cycling the exe estuary trail or getting the train to topsham/Exmouth etc. Gen made us feel relaxed and 'at home' and made a great host. Would recommend and stay again.

We loved staying in Nick and Sofia’s annex. It was full of character, well equipped, peaceful and had wonderful views from all of the windows. It also had a large collection of interesting books and DVDs. We did a couple of beautiful walks straight from the house and another one at nearby Ebbor Gorge. We also walked to the Cider Barn and enjoyed live music there on Sunday evening. We met Sofia and found her to be very friendly, welcoming and engaging.

What a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and had everything that we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, we loved the hot tub and - like many reviews before - the shower was one of the best we’d ever had! Lyme Regis is a 25 minute walk away, which was very manageable. The local pub, the Talbot Arms, is a mere 3 minute walk away. The food was fantastic, staff were friendly and they had a great pool table! Would recommend a fishing trip with Blue Turtle Charters and a trip to Pebblebed Vineyards for a tour. Sarah was responsive and gave lots of useful recommendations for the local area.

This place was perfect, welcoming for our dogs, perfect location to the nature reserve and the most stunning beach, as well as easy walkable to the local pub, which serves great food and drinks. We were two friends staying, so it worked wonderfully with twin beds. Lovely little kitchen, had everything you need, lovely to have space to relax in the lounge. Two toilets are always great, and a nice little en-suite. We'll go back for sure, not only for the friendly welcome, but for the location for walks/pubs. Thanks Eleri.

We had a wonderful stay in Karen’s superb apartment. Everything was there and of the highest standard. We would love to return. Karen was so friendly and the apartment was so convenient with great parking in a beautiful Devon village.

Wonderfully peaceful stay. We came to escape the town life to avoid fireworks on Nee Year because of our dog and young child. Not a single firework heard, which was lovely. We loved the very generous welcome hamper and we are big egg eaters so the fresh dozen eggs were also very much appreciated. Everything is so well coordinated and thought through. We may have to return again soon. Thank you Barbara for being such a great host!

The house was amazing g and it was very private! We were greeted with freshly baked bread from the host as well as eggs from their chickens which was a wonderful touch. The hot tub is in a wonderful private location with the horses in the next door field. Despite being away from any other buildings it was easy to find with the instructions we were sent and close to the local town. We definitely would rebook if we needed to stay in this area again.
