Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Haven

This was a beautiful home to stay at for our visit to Fairfield University. It was peaceful location near the school. The house itself was gorgeous with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you.

This place was amazing from the moment I walked in being welcomed with a stocked kitchen of breakfast essentials. The rooms were cozy and clean. I was so intrigued with the house being built in 1802 and history on the walls with all the renovations. My host was very responsive and helpful from start to finish. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

The Button Factory is adorable. It is an old home though and the neighborhood is definitely boggy so it’s got a few quirks but neat to spend time in the house with so much history. I wish there were pictures of what it was like when it was the button factory and the name of the company and any historical artifacts. Thank you for your hospitality!

As someone who is older and a little wobbly, I would like some indication for the edge of the steps going from the kitchen to the living room area. Otherwise the house was beautifully maintained. Beth was very helpful and amiable to our request for a later checkout due to my daughter’s health concerns. For us Floridians the heating system worked wonderfully during a cold week. I would very highly recommend this place to everyone.

Team was very responsive, we had one tiny hiccup and they were all over it. Nice welcome basket for when we arrived and very clear instructions on how to use things. Pizza oven was a huge hit and so was the hot tub. Nice peaceful trip.

Was a wonderful stay overall! Jaime was very helpful and the check in process was very easy. The place was beautiful on the inside. Everything was updated and brand new. A really nice and modern look. It was super clean when we arrived. Was close by to a lot of different things to do and great restraunts. Would highly recommend staying here, we will be coming back.

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

The place was great! Clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Regina was an excellent host, very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

We really loved staying at Karleen's place! The unit is very comfortable and cozy. The bed is super comfy, and I really enjoyed the patio overlooking the pool, especially with this taste of warmer weather. Karleen herself was very communicative and accomdating. All around a great trip!

We loved it ! It’s beautiful ! The kids had a great time . It’s clean .. the bathrooms are beautiful both of them . It’s right off the highway and we had no complaints what’s so ever ! Severely underpriced for the level of service, amenities and overall quality of life. The place was much bigger than we thought from the listing and the cleaners are unsung heroes. I don’t think you could find a spec of dust in that place if you tried. Billy let us park a few hours early which was extremely convenient and gave us a nice update that we could go check in a tad early as well. Super nice hosts and great value for the area!

We have stayed at many AirBNB’s across America and this house and its host, amenities and home are just in another league. What a perfect place to stay. We have a number of relatives in Branford and Guilford so we are familiar with the area. This location is perfect for all this area has to offer. Salestria was great with communication ect. I can’t give a higher recommendation than this! We shall be back! 😄😄😄😄

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

Our bookclub rented Patty’s place for a girl’s long weekend. The place was even more beautiful in person. We had a great time relaxing which was enhanced by the beautiful atmosphere. This was our first time to New Haven, and the location of the Airbnb was perfect. The downtown was accessible with a short drive and the neighborhood was very peaceful. We all agreed this was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed.

Very spacious house in charming town. Right next to hiking trails.
