WENT FOR A FAMILY CELEBRATION FOR THANKSGIVING WEEKEND. THE HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLY STUNNING, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT AREAS, PLENTY OF SEATING, BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE END OF NOVEMBER, WE STILL WERE ABLE TO USE ALL THE OUTSIDE AMENITIES, THE OUTDOOR BAR, SEATING AREA, FIRE PIT, THE HEAT LAMPS WERE PERFECT & UNEXPECTED. THE OUTDOOR AREA WAS AS AMAZING AS INSIDE. THE HOUSE WAS BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED, WOULD HAVE TO SAY PERFECTION! CANNOT WAIT TO GO STAY AGAIN. THANK YOU TO NATHANIA, YOU'RE COMMUNICATION WITH US WAS QUICK & GREATLY APPRECIATED! LOVED EVERY MINUTE!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

Jason is a great host. My family and I enjoyed our time at this beautiful spot. The house is newly renovated and the layout is quite spacious. The location is fantastic for getting to downtown Hartford and Storrs CT (20 min to either) with quick and easy access to I 84 and 384. Jason gave good recommendations for restaurants and things to do near by. Visiting in winter time meant the neighborhood was particularly quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the lake itself was walkable due to the cold weather. Really the only trouble we had was the lowest floor is off limits which we completely respected, but it is somewhat challenging accessing the hot tub (lower deck) during the winter season as the upper deck steps were completely iced over and the yard has a substantial angle of decent and we had to gear up and tread carefully around the house each time we wanted to use it. This would of course be a non issue any other season. We would certainly consider visiting again.

The house is cute, cozy, & perfect for a weekend away. Great deck overlooking the lake and the gas fireplace was very nice and easy to use. Tim was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with! Would recommend!

Beautiful home. Super cozy and nice. Back porch was beautiful. House is on a main road so be aware of that. It is an amazing home and we had a nice stay.

We were there during the iciest, chilliest winter GB has had for a minute. This home was a lovely cozy haven with multiple fireplaces, open communal spaces, and nooks for people to take a moment to themselves. Great for two families!

Chris was a fantastic host! First of all he was so responsive, always checking in on us everyday, and very helpful and communicative with recommendations and quick answers. Second of all, the property. It is so gorgeous. Definitely worth the price, and maybe even better! We loved our stay, we will definitely be coming back soon. Definitely check it out if you’re considering an Airbnb in the area. 10/10 experience!

What an incredible host and location. You know it is an amazing vacation when your 17 year old says he wants to go back and he loved the time with family. We brought our two dogs and it was a perfectly, peaceful get away. Loved the house, especially the yard and game room. Will stay again, definitely.

If you like antiques and a classic style home, Bill and Megan's place is for you. The woodwork and fireplaces were beautiful, and the space itself was simply charming. Check in directions were very easy to understand and we appreciated the off-street parking. The property was within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay at this residence any time we visit Middletown.

This was our third time staying at Nancy's place. Everything was great as usual and the little extras like eggs, milk, butter and a few snacks were much appreciated. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are soft and warm. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is as well and I appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The location is beautiful and safe. We were in Springfield for a trade expo at the Big E and the location was perfect and convenient.

One of the best AirBnB homes I've ever stayed in. Beautifully and creatively appointed. We felt right at home. Great resources for local activities and dining. Great selection of books to read. Chip was thoughtful and communicative. The kitchen had equipment that made it possible to cook! That's a real rarity. The number on the house is a little difficult to see on busy Route 44. Other than that, a 10+ out of 10. We're going back for sure.

This air bnb was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Really great for a few guests. The pictures do not give justice about how pretty the old New England home was. We felt like we were transported to 1935. We also really liked the pellet stove. The house has a really nice half circle drive way. Host was very responsive and flexible with the request. Clean, affordable, and easy. Loved it. Definitely recommend

This is the perfect space for a group to stay! The unique art pieces and makeup of the home combined with the record player and records made the home stand out for sure. I particularly loved the guide that identified everything we might need to know about the house as well as giving a bit more info about the art pieces. This is a place we’d all love to return to! Definitely recommend it.

My friend and I spent the weekend in Deb and John's home to have a girls weekend while she was visiting CT. We loved the house and all it had to offer. We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing all the animals near the brewery, and a dip in the hot tub at night. We enjoyed it so much, I booked a weekend for my husband and I to come back in the fall to check out the mountain biking trails!

Our stay was wonderful. Lena is the perfect host. We are already talking about going back next fall!

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the house. The house is beautiful and was extremely clean when we arrived. Luiz kindly left a sled for my kids to use in the yard. There is plenty of outdoor space and the yard has a good deal of privacy. There are two bedrooms and a den/office with a TV. The kitchen has everything we needed. Luiz was very easy to communicate with.

We had a long weekend here with two couples and our young babies looking for a peaceful and relaxing time. It did not disappoint. We throughout enjoyed cozying up by the fire and cooking meals in the huge kitchen. Kartik’s home is beautiful and very well maintained. You can tell he cares about the property and making sure his guests have the best stay possible. He was extremely responsive and made our trip that much more comfortable. We will definitely stay again and take advantage of the pool in the summer! Highly recommend this house.

The house was beautiful! We loved the charm of the old floors and the cozy farm style. The house was so clean, we all noticed and appreciated the time it must have taken to clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Jean was extremely friendly to let us book a last-minute stay at this home the day prior. The home is in a good location and has a nice layout, although we were only three people and did not use all of the house. One thing to note is that the heat was restricted to 70° and 72° depending on the thermostat and my elderly parents from Florida were extremely cold the entire weekend, wearing jackets and warm hats the round the clock even inside during their visit. Sadly for our group, the foliage of Fall had all disappeared save for one tree. Also, the pool was not available so we cannot comment on this. All in all, a lovely home, but definitely priced quite high, considering.
