Vacation rentals with beach access in West Devon District

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful Airbnb, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The space was immaculate, stylishly decorated, and equipped with every amenity needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, dining, and public transportation, which made exploring the area both easy and enjoyable. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing thoughtful recommendations that enriched my visit. Overall, my stay was seamless and memorable. We had a fantastic visit!! The property was really well finished and lots of great touches that made us feel right at home. The fixtures and fittings throughout were excellent with careful attention to detail (which was not expected). Having the hot hub was a wonderful touch which we will really enjoyed using. The views were exceptional and the outdoor space with gas BBQ was lovely. The level of communication by Susan was exemplary, as were Susan’s clear and concise instructions on how to access the property. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Had a brilliant new year break at Helens apartments, the whole apartment was decorated to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen fully stocked with everything you needed, the lovely open plan kitchen diner living room with large sofa and chairs was perfect for our two small families to gather, had lots of really good information from Helen about the area, which was very helpful. Everything is right on your doorstep nice short and long walks, shops, pubs and restaurants the car didn't leave the car park. I would highly recommend the apartment and am looking to return ourselves for another stay.

Lovely stay, view from appartment was great over looking the sea. Walking up every morning to sound of the waves was perfect. Ideal location short walk to all bars, restaurants & shops. Apartment light & airy spotlessly clean on 2nd floor which we didnt have a problem with. The shower is rather small . Would definitely return here, luved Sidmouth

Absolutely beautiful apartment. Ideally situated within 5 minute walking distance to shops/beach front. Views from the apartment were spectacular, I don't think you could beat them anywhere else in Woolacombe. Lovely clean and comfortable space. We will definitely be returning!

We may have only stayed a few days but we would defiantly choose to stay here again, for me & my family the apartment is in a ideal location. Lovely sea view from apartment.

we had a fantastic stay at Tom's place this Christmas! the house was perfect with everything we could possibly need. walking distance from the beach and pub was fab. thankyou for a wonderful stay and the hamper which had been left for our arrival it was much appreciated.

we highly rate this charming cottage for it's location, cleanliness & it's excellent host, Amy. the cottage is a few steps to Back Beach, it has everything we needed during our stay, & we're lucky to park near the door. restaurants, pubs, shops & the promenade are all walking distance. Teignmouth is a friendly town, & SEA-ESTA COTTAGE is the perfect place to spend our week's holiday in Devon. thank you, Amy, for hosting us, for the box of fudge, and, although we didn't forget anything, it was thoughtful of you to put the "something forgotten box" in the bedrooms. best wishes from Paul & family

We have had a fantastic week at Beachside! Beautiful house and garden just a few meters from the beach and sea! The house was extremely clean and very spacious! Des is a fantastic host, very clear instructions and recommendations and a kind gift left for us too… we would definitely look to return to Beachside! ☀️

Wow! What a gorgeous house! The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. The kitchen / living area is a beautiful space, well equipped and very relaxing to spend time in. The bedrooms are so stylish and beds very comfortable. A real luxury to have 3 bathrooms too. Handy to have a hot water outside shower and large shed to store wetsuits and boards etc. A very short walk down to the beautiful beach. Can highly recommend the surf school - great instructors. Loads of eating places a few minutes walk away. We especially enjoyed Catch, also great pizzas from the pizza place. The cafe at the Bedruthan Hotel and Spa was also fabulous. Great to visit nearby Padstow and Port Isaac and a great walk to Bedruthan Steps from the National Trust car park. Jax and Simon’s home is a perfect place to spend a week in Mawgan Porth and we would love to come back one day.

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation was fantastic. We loved the hi spec kitchen for the only meal we cooked whilst there. It was a home from home. Only being a brisk 5 min walk from the promenade was a bonus. Near to restaurants and shops too.

What a fantastic place. You instantly felt like home from the moment you walked in, really clean and had everything you needed to cook meals from scratch in the kitchen. Great location if you don’t want to drive, everything is a couple minutes walk from the house - can easily walk to the beach or the shops without driving. Bonus for us, there was an EV charger that Sue remote controlled so we could just plug in and top the car up. Would love to stay again, not sure we’ll ever get weather this good again though.

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!! Cannot recommend this place enough - the location was perfect, being so close to the beach was amazing and it was great to be near to Newquay, Padstow etc too. It truly felt like a home from home - had a great amount of space, comfy furniture and the welcome hamper was so thoughtful (even something for our pooch!). Everything we could have needed was provided and we just had the best weekend! We will definitely be booking again and can’t thank Barbara enough for our fantastic stay!

Excellent stay in New Polzeath. Easy access to local amenities. Having stayed in this apartment and other is the block a number of times over many years. Never disappointed! Lovely surroundings, quiet accommodation but only a short walk to Polzeath for surf and lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes good surf and lots of places to eat and drink.

Really nice little spot right by the beach! Great views and a really peaceful area. Lisa was so lovely and really responsive to any messages. Great communication and clear instructions with check in and check out. Really accommodating for our dog as well and made his first holiday perfect! We couldn't have asked for more 🥰

The views are wonderful and we loved how close the apartment is to the beach. We had many dog walks. The apartment was spotless and we appreciated the binoculars and telescope. We had a meal at Rockfish which was fabulous and also really liked the Beach pub which is opposite. We would definitely stay again, truly a hidden gem.

Great flat with easy access to everything in the centre of Woolacombe. Short walk to the beach (even with a surfboard!). Free parking. Easy to find and get access to the property. The flat is on the 3rd floor, but there aren't many steps and easy enough to get up there without any hassles. The flat is light and airy with good sized bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. Nice touch with tea, coffee, milk, cereals and biscuits on arrival. Great communication and fantastic host will definitely be visiting again!

The flat was very spacious & beautifully designed. It had everything we needed & was very close to the sea. All the furniture was really comfortable and Karen was a brilliant host

The photos didn’t do not do it justice, the flat is beautifully decorated and had lots of amenities over and above the description. Fix was incredibly friendly and helpful. The flat is so close to everything we barely used our car.

Excellent accommodation, everything was to a high standard. Great location, comfortable, parking and 5 minutes walk to the beach. We had scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival which was an extra touch by the host. Would highly recommend. Great communication from Jackie.

What an amazing place , very clean and everything you could need , even milk for a cuppa ! Only stayed one night but will be back. Close to the beach , pubs and restaurants, and Becky was very thorough with check in details. 100% rating ! Thank you .
