Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

Esklet is a lovely Edwardian house well situated for beach and town. It's in a quiet area. I found it clean and comfortable, with little extras like a mini-fridage in the room. Sarah is both friendly and helpful, and an excellent host. Have stayed in many guest houses around Whitby over the years, and have found this one of the best.

Our stay was short but sweet - the space is homely and very comfortable. The hosts Sara and Tom left us breakfast which was a really nice gesture. We would highly recommend.

Sarah was very pleasant and helpful. She greeted us when we arrived, and gave us our room key and clear instructions on where we could park for free a minute's walk away, and how to get into Whitby town centre. There were lots of leaflets and information in the entrance area about the local attractions. Our room (6) was on the top floor and was clean and spacious - with a double and a single bed, en-suite shower, plenty of storage space, a sink in the room, mirrors and plenty of sockets. Towels and toiletries were provided. The room was heated well, with a good radiator. The guest house was full at the time of staying as it was Whitby Goth Weekend, but guests were quiet with their movements. A basket was provided for easy key drop off in the morning. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely guest house, really kind and responsive host who advised us clearly about parking. Close walk to beach and rest of Whitby’s sights. We had a wonderful trip and would absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay over the New Year! Kitty was an excellent host and very helpful ,with brilliant recommendations. The cottage was perfect with all listed amenities and clear instructions. The surrounding area was particularly beautiful with friendly locals who suggested walks and restaurants. We cannot wait to return at some point in the summer! Thank you xx

Enjoyable stay. Easy access to the beach. Host was flexible with the arrival time . Beautifully decorated for kitchen. Signal was great for data or phone but was quite nice to be free of it. Caravan was lovely and warm .

A little mold in the top of the shower, around the switch (easy to sort) just need some spray. The bathroom needed mats/rugs exiting the tub/shower to prevent from falling or wetting the floor. The laundry room we didn't use but when open it was a little musky. Overall it was a clean, quiet area. On the last day we discovered we can walk to the city if you're a walker.

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed , was a lovely stay . The place had private entrance and exit and is very well decorated . Georgia is an amazing host , she gave us great recommendations too .

Absolutely beautiful!! Alison was so lovely - there was a power cut in the Annexe and part of the pub but she made sure we were ok and the pub made us sandwiches. Lovely friendly people, we can’t wait to go back!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nicola's Guest Suite. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The situation of the property was ideal for our trips around Nidderdale. It was set down a quiet lane with easy access to the man roads. Communications with Nichola were very smooth as she sent detailed and thorough instructions to find the property. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

The room we had was lovely and everything as described. The host Jamal was lovely and friendly. We were early in and the room wasn’t ready but we could leave our bags so we could go out without big backpacks on which made the day much better. We really enjoyed our stay and if in the area again, would stay here 😊 Thank you!

Highly recommended!! A beautiful place with the most helpful hosts. I had such a great time and the place is exactly as described in the pictures. I had the most warm welcome, was given some eggs by their home grown chickens and the house was just so lovely. I had little goodies and snacks provided in the house and the whole stay was just perfect. No complaints at all and I will definitely be back

We stayed here to celebrate New years 2024/2025. Great location local to amenities! The house was as looked and described as online. The place was clean and tidy fresh bedding fresh towels. Home from home. We will definitely be returning, thankyou again.
