Fabulous place to stay for our short stay. Allowed quick and convenient access to the hospitals and provided all amenities that we needed.

Would like to thank Wade for this lovely place. Surroundings are very nice Very spacious apartment, with super high ceilings. Beautiful view over the local mountains and incredible sunrises. One bedroom has kids beds which are a bit wobbly for an adult to sleep on Wish they were fitted with solid bases but apart from that a very comfortable stay within minutes to local restaurants and shops

Loved out stay at 55A The Retreat. Perfect location, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous bathroom and shower. Walking distance to CBD is a plus but the location is also so quiet and peaceful. Carol was amazing. Highly recommended - can't wait to stay again.

What a very special place. We were lucky enough to stay after a significant amount of rain so the waterfall was in full force. The sound of the rushing water was very loud and breathtaking. If you appreciate falling asleep to the sounds of nature, then this place is for you. Lovingly constructed from reclaimed timber, this cabin is rustic and charming in the best possible way. The towells were plush, the linen clean, the shower was hot and the cereal, milk, drip coffee and snacks were an appreciated extra touch. The bed was just okay as the mattress probably needs replacing soon. But this did not spoilt our stay. No TV - just sitting by the fire, roasting marshmallows and looking over that beautiful waterfall was exactly what our busy family needed. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay, the guest house was very well presented with beautiful surrounds/views. Directions and check in instructions were clear and extremely helpful. We will be back in the future.

Jon’s place is close to everyday, it’s a lovely place, very cosy and comfortable. Jon is an amazing host and very responsive. He had bread, milk and other goodies for us on arrival, we felt very welcome. It’s the little things that make the difference. Would recommend. Thank you for hosting. Will definitely book again.
