Great location with beautiful views

Bottom line: you should stay here. Excellent place and even better host Location: Lovely town, close to the lake. Restaurants within walking distance, including a nice breakfast place. Peek 'n' Peak ski resort is within a ten minute drive Accommodation: Really lovely. Leanne's place is spacious with two comfortable beds with warm sheets. The living room is a nice spot to socialize. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The bathroom is clean. There is a stairwell to get to the entrance. Host: Absolutely wonderful. Leanne is what Airbnb is about. She was so helpful and responsive and warm. We appreciated how she looked out for us with a message about incoming poor weather. She left us water, eggs, and bread in the fridge, which were needed supplies for our ski trip. She was quick to respond and super accommodating, even as she was dealing with the fallout from a recent storm herself. She is a wonderful host!!

The house was great. The neighborhood was quaint and very friendly. The area has a lot to offer. The furniture was clean and comfortable. I’ve been to the neighborhood several times and this was my favorite house so far

We had an amazing stay! The home was incredibly well-supplied with everything we needed and more – from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets. The hosts clearly put thought into every detail, making it easy to settle in and relax. The location was perfect: set in a quiet, friendly neighborhood surrounded by nature, which made it feel like a real getaway. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings, enjoying the peace. The proximity to local sights and Lake Erie was also a huge plus. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a comfortable, serene environment!

Excellent place for a weekend away with family! Kitchen was well stocked for an Air BnB, with everything needed to cook meals. Bedrooms were nice sized, with two on the main floor, which was helpful with people less inclined to stairs. While we were not able to use the dock area, as it was winter, the view on the lake was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a quiet family stay over New Year’s. House and kitchen were perfect. Would love to head back in the summer months and enjoy the beautiful lake!

Loved this place! Super cozy. Small but not cramped. Incredible view of the stars at night and enchanting views of fog rising off the lake in the morning. The location is very quiet but not at all out of the way. It’s obvious that a lot of care and attention to detail was put into making this little island a unique and memorable experience. My new bride and I especially enjoyed the hunt for painted rocks in the garden. And being able to take one as a keepsake (we chose the mushroom painted rock) was a great touch to remind us of that special time at the start of our lives together. Rodney was very friendly and responsive and even left us a personalized welcome letter and complimentary bottle of wine for the first night of our stay. Would absolutely recommend this place for a couple’s getaway!

Staying at Sally’s rentals has become a family tradition for us. She is an excellent host who has provided us with kindness, flexibility, and extremely quick responses when anything has come up. Her properties are well-stocked, offering the comforts of home and so much more. We come back every year because we’ve had such positive experiences. It truly feels like a home away from home for us!

The cabin was cute and closely located to the wineries we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the small touches included that we saw in other reviews such as the bacon, eggs, and OJ in the refrigerator. There were also disposable toothbrushes, shaving kit, and mini toiletries in case you forgot to bring something. The host and property manager were quick to respond to any questions we had.
