We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful Beech Mountain home. The house was clean, stocked well with necessities such as blankets, soap, shampoo, towels, etc. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain vacation. Helen was very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would book again!

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

Absolutely loved our stay at your home. The kitchen was well equipped with so much room and top notch appliances, truly an entertaining style kitchen where the cook can still be involved with the group. I must add how awesome the heated floors were in the bathrooms, and master bath’s luxurious set up includes a steam area. The home has two sitting areas, one with a grand wood fireplace and the other a gas lit fireplace. Also, to note, just down the road is a farm that includes a pickleball court and in-ground trampoline….along with adorable farm animals. Just a lovely stay. We snowboarded and skied just about every day . Thank you for sharing your home with my family!

Had a great stay and wish we were able to stay longer. Their dryer went out before we got there. They let me know immediately and offered a free cancellation or a partial refund. We took the partial refund and they sent it immediately. Very quick to respond to messages. Gave great recommendations on what to do and where to rent skis from. We went with Fred’s. They were also very accommodating with check out time since there was no one coming in that day. Overall, probably the best AirBnB experience I’ve had.

Missy and Ted have a b autufup cabin. We felt right at home and appreciated the homey touches. They were very helpful and responsive when we had issues with the Internet. We got snowed in for a day of our stay and it was heavenly! Thank You!

We had an amazing time during our stay! The property was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space. The attention to detail was amazing. We made use of the guest house which was also very nice. The chef's kitchen was a wonderful add. Great location. Would definitely go again.

We had a fantastic stay at Chuck’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to Boone and Jefferson. The host was incredibly responsive. Everything was well-stocked, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I only booked the accommodation for sleep, but I had a lot of fun and comfortable there! I plan to visit the riding ski again, and the chance of booking and visiting it is 100%!!

We stayed for close to 2 months with our 2 dogs. Great accommodations, surrounding land and area. Saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, various birds everyday. Woke up to birds chirping and sun shining. Wendy was great; very helpful and responsive with questions. Beautiful country oasis!

D.J.’s property was extremely clean, looked just as described in the photos, and had all of the necessary amenities + more! We visited during the winter months, and our pre-booked Airbnb was experiencing frozen pipes so we had to find alternative arrangements while traveling. D.J. responded almost immediately and made us, as well as our pups feel more than welcome. This Airbnb is extremely cozy, and in an absolutely beautiful location - especially during snow season. He was extremely responsive, helpful for any questions that I had throughout our stay, and even provided a list of nearby activities/restaurants which was super helpful as we were navigating a new unplanned area. Thank you so much again for hosting us, and we will most certainly be back!

Great home! We booked for a weekend ski trip and loved every second. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Never ran out of plates, utensils, cooking ware. Tons of coffee, tea, and hot coca to top it off. Host made great local recommendations and had a binder full of helpful info. The home was spacious and well kept. In the winter 4wheel is a must but we didn’t have trouble our specific weekend in a 2 wheel truck. You will love this home for your next stay!

We had a great stay. Feels tucked away but close enough to both Boone and Blowing Rock. The place was beautiful and the host was very helpful with a flexible check in.

Perfect for a lovely weekend at Sugar Mountain. Private and secluded. Saw an entire herd of deer walk in front of us. Very close to groceries and banner elk Main Street. We had a lovely time and would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our stay , perfect location, views are breathtaking , near to restaurants and stores. We went to watch our son play Football, campus was 12 minutes away.

Judith was a fantastic host and our stay at the crest was amazing! The house is very comfortable and it has everything you could ever need in the kitchen for staying in and cooking! Beds and bathrooms were comfortable and WiFi was great for those that have to work a little while on vacay. And everything was super super clean! Also a great location near so many things to do. Blowing rock and Boone have the cutest Main Street towns!! We had the best family getaway and we even got snow days! ❤️ My only suggestion for future guests is to check the weather before traveling and if it looks like snow, make sure you have a car with 4WD or chains on your tires. Our car was equipped so we didn’t have any issues, but with the snow and ice the roads around the mountain are slippery. Will be back again soon!

Perfect stay close to everything. Check in was effortless and easy. The fireplace heated the room up well. The bed was the most comfy one I’ve ever been on. Highly recommend
