The Mia Mia, Newstead

Beautiful home in a secluded setting. Our two young children had a great time, along with our two dachshunds which it was perfect for with an enclosed area for when we went out. We had the best time and would certainly return in the future for a longer stay

Stunning mountain views & bush garden to relax in

HannahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Had a most wonderful stay here - the pictures don't do it justice! The space is absolutely amazing with huge windows looking out into gorgeous bush and the rock formations in the distance. It was peaceful, full of wildlife and an incredibly lovely space to spend a weekend, we definitely wanted to stay longer! Kitchen was well equipped, and had a spacious fridge for lots of people's groceries. We made use of the outdoor dining area which was divine to spend mornings and afternoons, and the living room, though looking small, easily accommodated 5 adults for movie nights 😊 Jane was responsive and graciously allowed us a later check-out, and was there for any questions we had. The only thing that could have slightly been improved was the cleanliness, the bed quilts a bit dirty and the house a bit dusty, but nothing that got in the way of our stay overall.

Our stay at Adam and Peps was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and all 5 of us agreed! It was an absolutely beautiful place with heaps of room, very clean and tidy, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit was a highlight! The beautiful vineyard and scenery around made us not want to leave to go on the amazing hikes around the Grampians which were all a very close drive away! It was private and extremely good value. Adam was super responsive with any questions and willing to help out with suggestions if needed. We are already planning when we can come back next! Highly recommend!

the cabin freshly renovated and well looked after. you can walk to the centre in 10-15 minutes and yet enjoy quiet area with wild life around you. We even saw deer's family of four, facilitating creatures.

Kodama Halls Gap Townhouse

StephRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The townhouse was lovely. As previous guests noted the floors are noticeably dusty and pet hair on the carpet. The place overall could use a paint update especially in the upstairs kids bedroom were there is paint peeling. Limited supply of basics and well worn cookware in the kitchen. Easy relatively flat 2km bike/walk into town which was great to take advantage. If your kids are very young, it is worth noting the upstairs bedroom is quite a ways away from the main bedroom, and the top bunk seemed higher than the usual we have used. If you can take a baby monitor, it likely would help with peace of mind for smaller children. The townhouse is a very close walk to Halls Gap pub, we enjoyed the live music… even after the kids were in bed could hear from the balcony. Emus, cockatoos and kangaroos all visited at the back, which was lovely to see. To note it seems the emus are wild but very familiar with humans… so they were not worried to approach us and try to get our berries.
