Beachfront vacation rentals in Wareham

Friendly host! Allowed us to bring our 4 little dogs! Hard to find a host that will allow this. Clean and peaceful property.

We would definitely recommend Deb’s and Sharon’s cottage as a place to stay. The location is great, as it is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the water, but is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood so it still also offers plenty of privacy. They were wonderful and responsive hosts and checked on us throughout our stay, though we didn’t end up needing a thing. They were gracious enough to allow our dog Bella join for the weekend too, which we appreciated very much as she goes everywhere with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely look to book again if we make our way back to the beautiful island!

We had such an amazing time at Anne’s beachfront cottage. My girlfriend, pup and I spent about a week there to celebrate my birthday and staying here while on the island made it such a stress free trip. The house was well-stocked with supplies, towels, and pantry items that we would have otherwise forgotten to bring. The LOCATION was unbeatable, close to everything while still being secluded from the main road. The backyard views were immaculate, sitting on the beach for the sunset and enjoying the breeze, playing in the water with the dog. We all loved it! My only minor complaint is that the beach got a bit dirty with seaweed by the end of our stay, but I know that’s unavoidable due to the position within the cove. We would definitely come back for a future stay on the Vineyard!

Cynthia & Jason’s beach house was the perfect place for our New Year’s getaway! Its location was ideal—a short drive to great restaurants & only 15 minutes from the lively nightlife of Newport. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, balancing cozy charm & practicality. We appreciated how the space was pet-friendly. With two 8-month-old shorthaired pointers in tow, we didn’t have to stress about them breaking anything. There was ample room for crates, making it feel like home for them, too. The ocean-inspired decor added a special charm that immediately put us in vacation mode. For us humans, the house was inviting and well stocked for cook/eating in. The back bedroom’s bed was incredibly comfortable—I hadn’t had such a good night’s sleep in ages! We loved relaxing so close to the ocean, soaking in the peace of the neighborhood was quiet and well-maintained, offering the perfect backdrop for an escape. We can’t recommend Cynthia & Jason’s place enough—it’s a gem!!!

Driftwood cottage is a beautiful place to stay. The views are stunning and the location is very peaceful. It was wonderful to experience both the serenity of the cottage and the excitement of Newport (a pleasant 35 minute drive). The place was very clean and cozy. I hope to come back soon!

Second time staying at John’s place. It is a beautiful location with spectacular views!

We had a great long weekend at Rob's place. We would definitely consider staying here again on the off season. Beds were comfortable, there is a nice balcony looking at the ocean. We ate out but the kitchen seemed equipped with everything you might need. Friendly host and had great recommendations. :)

Perfect little studio for two people! Great location - close to beaches and restaurants and there’s even a pool! Michael was super responsive and the place was exactly like the pictures!

The place and location were great. Dave definitely was a great communicator and explained everything prior to arrival. This was a time share so the facility has no reflection on Dave’s reputation. The deck and the pool were the only things that could have been cleaner.

We loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave. Beach is insanely beautiful and is an easy walk. Sparkling clean pool. Clean, safe, quiet, park right in front, comfortable beds, kitchen has everything including some spices. Can’t beat the screened in front porch and back deck. Denise is very responsive and communicative. She tended to a couple of minor issues immediately. We loved her recommendations.

We stayed in the tree house suite. It had a lovely deck surrounded by trees and a great view of the sky. Craig and Ginny are as friendly a couple you will ever meet--always quick to answer questions and offer some great suggestions, Craig even offered to drop us off at a few places. They were so kind they felt like old friends. The beach is beautiful and a five minute walk away--which is great because they charge 25 bucks to park. So do the easy walk, and Ginny will provide chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Hyannis itself is a great place to walk around with lots of shops and great restaurants. We also took a ferry to Nantucket which was delightful, as well. I would visit them again without question. Go. You won't be disappointed. Michael and Rebecca

Jonathan and Polina were outstanding host. Our family had a great vacation .Thanks for sharing your charming and historic home with us. Our grand kids loved the heated pool, and all the kids toys and books at the house. We felt at home and look forward to coming back in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this rental! The space was incredibly well-equipped, providing everything we needed and more. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. The attention to detail in the amenities was impressive, from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy living areas. We felt right at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful and well-appointed place to stay!

Great place for a group retreat. We enjoyed the pool and view, even in the winter. Our large group of 14 found the coziness and amenities to be basic but Tony checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in/out was very very easy (much easier than other hosts we’ve had). Thanks again for a great stay!

Extremely charming, homey old-school beach cottage very near the beach, plus a great separate 1 bedroom small cottage on the same property (internet was good in the large cottage, not in the small one). Lots of great screened in porch space, plus an upper deck with ocean view. Large fenced back yard. Beautiful sunrises *and* sunsets, both! We were there in late September, so there were minor signs of end-of-season wear--normal for an older beach house at the end of beach season, and makes it feel more homey & relaxing. Less than 5 min walk to beach (long stairway to access beach). Walking along White Horse Beach is best at low to mid tide. No "low tide" smell at low tide. Beach is rocky in the sense that there are a lot of little smooth round multicolored rocks, plus a few very picturesque huge rocks out in the ocean. Beach is comfortably walkable if you wear flip-flops or water shoes. Short drive from grocery stores, restaurants, & many historic sites including Mayflower II.

We absolutely loved staying at this property for my mother’s 80th birthday. We truly appreciated all the attention to detail -from the beach house decor to the extra cleaning supplies. The house even had extra chairs and tables which were perfect for the celebration! The amenities were endless. The house is gorgeous and all my family members were impressed. There was plenty of space for everyone and even games for the kids. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We are already planning to return!

Windsurfers Cove was exactly as pictured and described. The house was immaculate, extremely cozy and had everything we needed. The location and scenery was perfect! Absolutely peaceful! The host Jonas was very prompt with responding prior to and during our stay. We look forward to returning.

Tommy was great. He was easy to contact and communicated wonderfully. The house was set up for a guest with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The furniture and beds were so comfortable as well as the welcoming feel. Plenty of spacious rooms. Even spaces you could have alone time. When they described the house on the ocean, it really is. This was by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. Hope to rent it again next year. I can’t say enough on how comfortable the house is. Joseph was a wonderful host . Very responsive and friendly, helpful. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood overlooking the water with a beautiful reflection of the sunrise and a beautiful sunset. Small private beach . Nice coffee and cheese shop two miles away with a few fabulous shops. We were there to relax and that's exactly what we did !! Thank you Joseph

This is a beautiful house, very well-appointed and clean. Communicating with Tim was easy, and the location is gorgeous.

We absolutely loved Peter and Sally’s house, especially the front porch. We spent all of our time out there watching the world go by and taking in the beautiful view of the water. The house was clean and incredibly well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable and the living room was great for family movie nights. The little beach across the road was perfect for our quicker beach trips (we have an 11 month old). I was worried about noise from the road but traffic really dies down at night and we hardly noticed it during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would stay here again!
