Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Wappapello

It would have been nice to have a second TV and a mirror in the second bedroom, but the place is adorable and very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful!!! We built a fire every night. Loved it.

Great location right on the river ! Only downside is no dock to use or stairs to get down to the river. It’s a steep rocky slope down to it. Other than that it was perfect. Great place for a larger group. We enjoyed our stay.

Stop! Look no further! You wanna relax? Stay here! Kid friendly, sooooooo accommodating. Beautifully decorated and room for the whole family! Did you forget something? No worries! I'm sure she thought of it. Absolutely outstanding! Definitely coming back! So should you!

Beautiful deck on the river. Linens were of high quality. Everything was just as described. Highly recommend.

We stayed overnight on our way home to Charleston, WV. My husband had some trouble with the door code. We messaged Cindy and she unlocked the door, remotely, immediately. That was much appreciated after a long trip. We enjoyed a great night’s sleep in peaceful, clean surroundings. The heated bathroom floor was nice on a chilly morning, and the PAC-Man arcade game really took us back. All we could have asked for and more!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures. If you have a boat or trailer, like we did, I would advise arriving before the sun goes down. The driveaway was troubling because it wasn't well-lit and was a little smaller than we expected. That was the only "issue" we ran into. I would screenshot the directions before you get too close to town. I had no service as we approached the house. Just a heads-up for future guests. Easy check-in. Beautifully updated house. We'd love to come back.

The springs were so much more beautiful in person than the pictures can even capture. We were amazed at how crystal clear the water was and how much was flowing out of the spring into the river. We took the very short walk from the cabin to the cave which was cool too. I swam in the water which was soooo refreshing. The view from inside the cabin and the porch is panoramic and breathtaking. The a/c worked great and the bed was comfy. We can't wait to come back and spend more time.

Absolutely perfect!!! Our family was looking for a place big enough to comfortably accommodate us. There were seven of us & we were celebrating three birthdays. Julie's place certainly fit the bill! Our entire family loves Current River! Even though we are in the cold month of February, we could still enjoy the beauty of the river & it's surroundings. Magnificent views from River Blue Cabin! The cabin was very welcoming. The layout was great for our bunch. The added bonus of having two separate living areas & kitchens was perfect! It was cozy yet everyone had their space. The kitchens were very well set up with most everything you might need. ( Liked the coffee mugs so much in the upstairs kitchen that I ordered a set for home.) Our host, Julie, was very accommodating & so responsive! There were four generations of us staying in River Blue Cabin & we had a great experience! Many laughs & memories made! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin!!!

Was a perfect location to stay if you want to see different attractions. House was beautiful and in very good condition as well!

If you are looking for a nice secluded but yet close to civilization cabin for a romantic weekend or just a nice get away with a fantastic hostess/host look no further! This place is a modern small cabin with beautiful interior and views of a creek, trees, deer and a variety of birds. Alberta goes out of her way to make everything perfect for you. I can’t give this place or hostess a 10 because a 5 star is as high as the app allows.😊 We will stay with again most definitely.

We had a great stay! Our favorite part was the outdoor pavilion and fireplace.

The cabins are perfect for a stay on the black river. The location is free of light pollution. You can see the stars, walk to the river, there is a kitchen, barbecue grill, fire pit. I will be back!

Beautiful cabin! Very private and lots of at home amenities. Very clean. Especially for how off the beaten path it was and private. Driveway was well maintained as well. Would love to return when the weather is warmer and enjoy more of the outdoors and property. Definitely one of our favorite destinations so far. Thank you for having us. We do hope to return.
