Family-friendly vacation rentals in Walworth County

Christine’s place was the perfect get-away for a family vacation close to home. The lake was beautiful and the place was spotless and inviting. It felt like you walked in to your own home. It’s close to places to eat and there is even a community space just a few houses down that is lively if the weather is nice. I’m hoping to come back again!

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

We booked for 2 weeks and enjoyed each day! Great neighborhood for walking our dog and loads of restaurants nearby to try out. The home was furnished with everything you could need. Sarah was accommodating to meet our needs and we would definitely come back here.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

Amanda is the best host I’ve ever had, she is so friendly and responsive. Her kitchen was fully equipped, she gave us the option of having firewood delivered, the place is absolutely beautiful, you walk down some stairs to get to the beach. A group of 8 moms went there for a weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

The house was very centrally located and convenient to everything in Lake Geneva. It was a good size for my adult family to stay and we enjoyed the common areas for gathering. The house is old but in a way that we found quirky and charming, and overall clean and functional. There is only one shower but we didn't run out of hot water so it worked out. Parking and entry were very easy. Overall a great find and value if you are okay with an older place and want to prioritize a central location with several private bedrooms.

Very nice place to host our large family Christmas gathering. Plenty of room for everybody. The game room was very much appreciated and well used.

This was our third stay and once again loved it! Such a peaceful escape and Wil is so welcoming! I appreciate the battery/charger and provisions of drinkable water, soaps, etc. very easy to show up and relax! Highly recommend!

This place is perfect for big parties. Beautiful and clean location with tons of space for 10+ people. Nice fire pit in the backyard and the host is amazing. There were a few kitchen utensils missing due to the last renters not returning things where they belong and a phone call to the host was made and he delivered brand new utensils within an hour. This place and owner really make you feel at home!

What a truly amazing experience! Our families came from opposite sides of the country to enjoy some amazing racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. We don’t get a chance to see each other that often so we wanted a place that we could gather together to relax and enjoy. We arrived from our two day journey from Montana to a beautiful evening and a wonderful sunset. Our friends from South Carolina were already there and the rest of our group followed shortly after. Once we took just a minute to see the house and walk the grounds we knew we picked the perfect spot!!!! Our first two evenings were spent enjoying the grounds, the house, the porch, the view and the beauty!! We hosted several families for dinner and the space was amazing for gathering, eating and fellowship. Tracy and Leif have made the space so user friendly and inviting that we really felt amazingly comfortable!! They have provided every detail you can imagine from s’more packages to basketballs to lots of wood for the fire ring to every local tip you could imagine!!! The combination of a lovely comfortable home and the quaint and beautiful grounds make for a truly wonderful experience. We left wanting out experience to last a few more days, so we knew it was special place. We would highly recommend this experience!!! Andy and crew

We had a peaceful weekend getaway. The house was clean and exactly as described. Erica was a great host and provided clear instructions for the check-in and check-out processes. The location was great, even in the winter. We loved looking out over the frozen lake watching ice fishers come and go. There were 2 great venues within walking distance for food/drinks. Would love to come back and check it out during the summer months.

First I’d like to say that the place was great. Loved the loft feel to it. If I had to change anything it definitely would be the shower. Way too many places that water shoots from. Also I wasn’t a big fan of the keyed entry. I prefer a keyed lock I guess. Other than that it’s a great place.

Laura’s place was great for us. Spacious one bedroom apartment with a well appointed kitchen, privacy, and great fenced in backyard. Gave us the perfect respite between two days of driving!

We've stayed here many times and the house is perfect for our group. Brittany is very responsive and the kitchen/dining room/covered deck is great for hanging out. We will be back again!

Always a great host. It snowed while I was there and he had the driveway and sidewalks shoveled immediately.

Great spot! The condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Mandy’s detailed directions and instructions made checking in a breeze. Our group of four had a fantastic time.

We had a great family experience at Grand Geneva Resort.

We had a fantastic time here! The property has an incredible deck that extends into the surrounding forest. We had breakfast outside every morning! If you love wildlife, you'll love this place.

This is a great condo in Lake Geneva. It’s about an 8 minute drive from downtown but the location on Lake Como is great. Everything in the condo is exactly like the pictures and everything was clean. I had a great stay and would stay here again!

Great locations and easy to get to everything we wanted to do. We had a few very minor issues that did not affect our stay and she was very responsive to the items we discussed.

I had a lovely time at Stephen's A-frame. His property is very beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a quiet getaway without having to drive too far from a more populated area. There is the main house, caretaker’s cottage and some neighbors nearby, but it still felt very private and remote. I also felt very at home and found it easy to relax. I cooked meals there and found everything I needed in the kitchen to do so. It's nice to have a grocery store just down the street. The indoor wood-burning fireplace was much appreciated and perfect for a cozy winter getaway. Overall a wonderful place to stay!
