Family-friendly vacation rentals in Walsall

A lovely long weekend spent with family in the large farmhouse. Beautiful sunsets and surrounding countryside and a well-equipped home. Open plan kitchen and dining area with room for all to cook and eat together. Space for everyone yet cosy and warm. A hot tub with views was a hit with everyone!

We stayed here for one night and it was amazing, Emma is so lovely and accommodating. The area is very private and quiet, it’s so relaxing and peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hot tub was prepared for us, logs were ready for use in the log burner and fire outside and she even left us marshmallows to toast! We loved how sustainable and good for the surrounding animals the area is, especially the pond full of frogs! It was so cute and special, thank you very much Emma!

Fantastic stay! A lovely break from hectic life! The hot tub was perfect temperature, size with a great view The pod had everything we possibly needed and the space was used well. Great shower and kitchen facilities. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful accomodation and grounds, friendly hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mutton Barn. The house was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The location was perfect: a beautiful, rural position - so quiet - all we could hear was birdsong! The views from the house were outstanding! We loved seeing the wildlife: badgers feeding on the lawn, pheasants in the garden, deer roaming across the fields and a bird of prey swooping from tree to tree as we drove up to the house on our arrival. Paul was a very friendly, obliging and helpful host - we certainly appreciated the lighting of the log burner each night. Many thanks too, Paul, for the champagne, milk and chocolates you left for us - they were much appreciated!

Lovely weekend stay with the dog and husband. Hot tub was lovely and surrounding area has loads of great walks. Pub was beautiful!

We had such a lovely few days away. It was very cosy and we loved the private outdoor area, spending our evenings relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire pit. Emma was very responsive throughout and made us feel very welcome, leaving us milk to use and marshmallows to toast on the fire. Great location to explore iron bridge and local walks, lots of pubs nearby. Would highly recommend!

Lovely home, more space than the pictures indicate. The hot tub was lovely, undercover and well lit.

The Dinney is lovey and the drake cottage is nice to stay in. The place has a welcoming driveway and cows to say hello to. The views all around are great. the washing machine was handy and everything was clean. the back garden is handy for small children to play in and for them to pop in and out and it feels secure.

Thank you for a lovely stay. We booked this at short notice. The Upper Mews is exactly as described, spotlessly clean and the hosts were really helpful. The Upper Mews is a great location for exploring Worcestershire and beyond.

I had a wonderful stay and the fox's den is a gorgeous place. Everything was wonderfully laid out and there was so many small little touches that were just so cute and amazing. Definitely want to come back and stay for a longer period next time!

We had a perfect new year stay in Shirley's accommodation! The pictures on the listing do not do this place justice! There is so much room it is easy to fit 10 people and not be stepping on each others toes all the time. The instructions to get there and local information was extremely clear and useful. Shirley came to greet us and check we had settled in ok and if we needed any help. She was so friendly and helpful! When the WiFi went down (absolute disaster for the kids!), Shirley responded very quickly and rectified the problem immediately - thanks! The house is in a wonderful rural location to enjoy morning sunrises and close enough to Worcester to be able to easily visit and gather resources. There are so many walks which can easily be done from the house, we couldn't choose which to go on though the weather put paid to our grand plans. Such a great place and location and definitely would recommend for larger groups looking for this kind of accommodation.

A new family favourite! It was a home from home with everything provided that we could possibly need. The house was very comfortable, there was outdoor seating and access to the woodland for walks which was perfect during our sunny stay. We had a great time and we would love to return. Jean and James are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.

Jessica was very responsive and accommodating with our check in time. The place was easy to find and meet our needs. She even brought us an extra towel to use for the dog as it was going to be rainy. The back garden was perfect for our dog to stretch his legs (and the main reason we booked).

Absolutely delighted with our stay. Sandy and Paul were excellent hosts from letting us know directions to having the fire lit on our arrival. Paul even came back and made sure the fire was roaring on our return from our day out. Home is spotlessly clean, peaceful and had everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing weekend away. Thank you Sandy and Paul!

I stayed here for 5 weeks and was very comfortable, with everything you could need. The area seems nice and safe, walkable to city centre/train station and a quick bus ride to the university. It's worth being aware that you can clearly hear the people in the upstairs flat (footsteps, phone alerts etc) but I sleep with headphones in so not too much of a problem for me.

Chase Lodge is in a perfect location if you want a quiet countryside break not too far from shops and restaurants. The property is really well equipped, comfortable and clean and is all exactly as described. We didn’t meet Zoe but she kept in touch. Check-in and out is very simple via key box. We went on lots of scenic walks directly from the property. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

If I’m completely honest I cannot find the words… , brilliant host , friendly and informative! Only down side was the fact I didn’t want to leave !!! Home from home ! We were travelling for work but I shall be back with the family! THANKYOU :)

Great accommodation ideal for work or base for visiting local area. Friendly hosts Muriel came out to show me round on arrival and let me know they were available if I needed anything else. Will definitely check availability if in the area again.

Good experience. Everything worked. Great wifi. A quiet road 10mins from Moseley village and 15mins from Kings Heath high st. On road parking but felt secure and had no trouble. Great coffee shops and small independent eateries in both Moseley and Kings Heath so we had a great time. Easy travel to Birmingham’s centre and the new station should be open around the middle of 2025 making it a very easy journey.

We have had an absolutely great weekend at number 2 Bell Cottage! Felt like a home from home! Hosts were so helpful and welcoming! Ensuring to send us local recommendations, instructions and handy tips! The cottage itself had EVERYTHING you could possibly need, very spacious & homely. Milk, tea bags, coffee & sugar on arrival to make sure we had a brew after a very long drive was very much appreciated, and there were extra towels, pillows, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner! You name it, they'd supplied it! The secure car park was an added bonus, ensuring our car was safe during our stay. Plenty to do in the area and perfect for us visiting the NEC with it being just a 5 minute drive to get to! The Morrisons across the road was a life saver, especially if needing to get some last minute essentials (snacks 🤣). On leaving I'd forgotten my coat, which the hosts are kindly posting back to me! Very kind people, would 100% recommend & we are looking forward to visiting again! Diolch!
