Look out to a forested coastal view and watch the sun go down on the sea or shine on the limestone rocks in the morning . Cabin has all amenities for an amazing off grid glamping experience. Transport to cabin is by 4x4 ( provided ) a 15 min drive or you can hike through hill country overlooking sea views takes about 35 mins . Car parking at main lodge . Waitomo caves is 30mins , guests must bring there own food for there stay , coffee/tea and milk are at cabin .

Our 1950s-style family bach has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Mōkau, year-round. Though "retro" in style, we pride ourselves on keeping it clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Enjoy meals and drinks on the deck in summer or cosy up by the fire in winter. Two bedrooms inside and a third in the sleepout accommodate up to 7 guests. The beach is only a short walk away. (Ideal 'home away from home' for Mt Messenger bypass and Awakino Gorge contractors too.)
