John was a lovely host, always friendly and up for a chat when we caught him. The house is in a great location & super easy to find! Albie, their cat, is the sweetest boy ever and often came over for snuggles! Would recommend staying here if possible :)

Marianne was a great and friendly host! Her place met our needs and has a great view of the estuary! Will definitely consider her place again when we visit Tauranga in the future!

We had a pretty good stay here. Clare was so friendly, her fruit garden was so amazing! Children pretty loved this garden.

What a hidden gem while passing through Tūrangi! This spot is located in a quiet neighborhood and served as a great jumping off point for our stay. The real treat here though? All of the attention to detail and thoughtfulness put in by the hosts that might get unnoticed! During our stay, there was available to us: - hiking poles - decent size drying rack for our laundry PLUS laundry soap - ice packs, for our cooler, in the freezer to take on hikes - extra blankets to cozy up with All of that and the fact that restaurants, groceries, and bakeries were also an easy 8-10 min walk, were all things we didn’t expect when we booked our stay. One last recommendation: Tokaanu Thermal Pools is about 4 mins away as well. If you’re coming through to hike, this is a must to relax your bones after a day exploring.

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. We had a wonderful stay here. Lynda was incredibly thoughtful and had the heating and lights on for us and a cold beer and rosé in the fridge for us - very welcome after a long travel day. The space is beautifully renovated and really well thought out - very functional and comfortable for the two of us. We were happy to have the chance to meet both Lynda and Graeme - but also felt that we had a private space. Taupō put on the best weather for us - we were very lucky. So we had lots of opportunities to do lots of outdoorsy things - in between having some great meals. Just follow the recommendations in the guide left for you and you won’t go wrong!

Jane our host is lovely and accommodating . A later check out was offered which was appreciated . The kitchen with full fridge and dishwasher was great . Bed was extremely comfortable and everything beautifully clean .

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s place - it’s conveniently located for all Rotorua has to offer, but on a quiet residential street. Excellent communication from Kim around the check-in process and we appreciated the local tips!
