We had a lovely stay. The house was gorgeous, clean, and very peaceful. The welcome book has clear directions, the kitchen was well stocked, and Arthur was a friendly host. Would stay again!

Our family enjoyed our stay. It was like sleeping in a treehouse! Ocean views, beautiful sunrises, frogs singing at night, and so many stars. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful with local tips. It was a magical stay!

Jeri and Simon’s home is lovely, modern and beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable and slept well. We were accommodated with more than the basic necessities. The house is a short distance to Volcano National Park and Hilo. The house is easy to find and the area is quiet. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay again. The space is huge and surrounded by landscape that offers complete privacy. The frogs sing you to sleep. It’s 5-10 minutes from town, but 3 minutes from the nearest, spectacular waterfall. It’s a great place to stay for a couple with maybe one other person or two small kids.

Best place to stay on Big Island! The host was super quick to reply and really friendly. The place was spacious and super clean, loved it. It’s really close to Volcanoes National Park, so we could go anytime, which was awesome. The view from the place was beautiful, and thanks to the big bed and comfy sofa, we could totally relax. They also had simple kitchenware, so it was super convenient to enjoy takeout food at the place. And the best part — you can even see tons of stars right from the yard at night! Left with only good memories — would love to come back!

This place was totally awesome! It was so beautiful and peaceful! We slept so well! The house was well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Denise and Brian are the best hosts, making sure we had everything we need. Itineraries were provided so we were never bored. We will definitely be back for a stay in the beautiful rainforest on the Big Island! 🏝️

Maricels home was very clean and beautiful. Very responsive and always checked in on us to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything or had any questions. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to come to Hilo and wants to stay close to Hilo town to stay at their place. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great base for visiting Volcanoes NP, just an easy short drive to the park entrance which was exactly what we were looking for. The living space was bright and spacious and made our group of 6 feel right at home with ample space to spread out. We were surprised at the large swings in temperature even within the house so be prepared to dress warmly in the late evening and early mornings but the house also had plenty of extra blankets and heaters to help.

Our family loved staying here! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and exploring the grounds finding lizards, snails and birds. The house was clean and spacious and the a/c and fans were appreciated! We hiked to Shipman beach from the house and it was well worth it - saw lots of huge turtles and enjoyed a quick swim before heading back. Highly recommend staying here!

We chose this property because of the close proximity to the ocean. There is no beach but you can definitely hear the waves crashing and it was very tropical. Besides the house next door, it is very private. Plenty of kitchen appliances, plateware, and silverware. The neighbors were friendly, including their dog. Overall, we had a great stay would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for peaceful, quiet time on the island.

This is a lovely quiet location close to Hilo and Volcano NP. We loved having the pool and the amenities of a well thought out home.

Beautiful home and wonderful host. We had everything we needed or could ask for. Mari was a perfect host answering any questions, providing many local recommendations and even met us at checkin to show us her home. The view was magnificent, opening the doors in the morning and sipping on coffee on the deck watching the sun rise was my daily ritual. It was a nice surprise to have chairs and snorkeling equipment available to us. Grocery and Walmart minutes away for quick pickup items. The must see sights were just 10-20 minutes away. We visited the caves, snorkeling in the bay, national park and the gardens.

We had such a wonderful stay at the house in Keaau and Michelle and Joe were amazing hosts. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a beautiful outdoor porch and incredible lush grounds. We absolutely loved staying at the house it was hard to leave. Michelle and Joe are incredible hosts. They opened fresh coconuts for us, gave local recommendations to beautiful beaches and other things to do on the island. Every day was like coming home with adorable geckos outside and the beautiful sounds of the frogs at night. My only wish is that we stayed even longer! Thank you so much Michelle and Joe! Mahalo!

Very beautiful home and lots of room for many people to stay. Host is very responsive with any questions/concerns. Very clean as well with lots of things you may need such as beach towels, cooler, water toys etc. Location is very private as well if that's what you're looking for. Just fyi it is ocean front but you cannot get to the ocean from location in case you are looking for that. You can see whales if you look closely which was very cool! Overall great stay for our first time using Airbnb!

We stayed at Diana’s place for a week on a family trip with six adults and two kids. The place exceeded our expectations and met all our needs. It’s very spacious, and all the bedrooms are well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is also large and well-stocked. The outdoor area is beautifully maintained, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. For our family, it was the perfect place to stay! :)

This property was heaven on earth, the grounds are more beautiful than most botanical gardens we’ve visited. We wished we had booked more nights, every person in our group loved the stay.

We came to Big Island to enjoy calm and recharge. Eliot's place offers just like that as his house is spacious and plenty of space between properties with peaceful surroundings. because the home sits in a large ground in suburb of Hilo. Downtown Pahoa is close so you can dine out and get shopping done easily if you want. Eliot is kind and smart owner to take care of home and our needs. He was always responsive and come back with a solution for our questions.

Suzy was very helpful and responded quickly. Her house was clean, organized and very homey. It was also very helpful to have a washer and dryer for our stay.

It’s always nice when the house and host meets or exceeds your expectations. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as the adventures and amenities. The sports gear and picnic items were a very welcome add on. Literally a 5 minute walk to the shoreline

Beautiful place, looked just like the pictures! Peaceful and quiet, all the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. They provided nice touches throughout to make you feel at home.

It is a very lovely place. Christina and her team is very considerate and responsive. The room is very comfortable with lots of heating device. The environment is beautiful with lots of cute animals. definitely would come again, if I visit the volcano national park.

The place was great and matched the description. Had plenty of room for our family of 8. Close to some small shops, food, and not far from Hilo. Highly recommend!
