Family-friendly vacation rentals in Virginia Beach

This house and stay were exactly what we needed! We are a quiet family that loves peaceful spaces. The home was beautiful, well maintained, clean, updated, and extremely well appointed. Access to both the beach and lake was easy, as was getting into and out of town. Jack proactively reached out to us when we got there to ensure everything was in order and offered assistance if we needed anything. We didn’t need anything during the week but we felt good knowing he was available. We met some of the neighbors in passing and they were friendly and welcoming, too. Wonderful experience!

We stayed at Pinch Me for a family get together. Lots f room so we could all have some private space as well meeting areas. LARGE kitchen and dining table allowed us to cook and eat together. Also had beach access right across a very quiet street. I would absolutely recommend this house.

We enjoyed our short stay. Ron’s Pool House is lovely and we would go back again but not right after a snowstorm. The weather kept us from enjoying the pool, the deck the yard. Warmer weather would definitely be more enjoyable! Cliff, Carol, & Gavin

The Cutty Sark was exactly as advertised! It was cute and vintage, we didn't use it but we loved the vintage cook stove and refrigerator! It was perfect for us on our trip and we would stay again if in the area!

Davina was very attentive and was always checking in to make sure things were going well. She quickly responded to messages and was very helpful.

Jenna is a great host. Very responsive, personable throughout the process. Location is great. Right in the beach. Several restaurants are walkable. Beach here has a playground for the kids and a work out set up for those inclined. Pools and spa were great, especially on bad weather days.

Kevin’s place was fantastic for what we needed. It’s clean, quiet, extremely close to the grocery store, and a hop and a skip away from the beach and restaurants. The keypads on the building and the unit itself make coming and going a breeze without having to remember a key. I would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks Kevin!

Beverly was very helpful on a short notice vacation for me and my husband! We had a great time and the house was a lot bigger than what we needed but perfect at the same time! We enjoyed having space to enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Being that close to the beach was amazing. Beverly was also very responsive when we asked questions. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Great spot to relax, reset and recharge. The house had everything we needed to make our meals for the week. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. We saw horses most days and were grateful for the beach chairs to use. Best vacation of my life-will be back.

Bijan’s place was amazing! My husband and two small children were very comfortable here. The places offers all the comforts of home and all staff went above and beyond to ensure your stay was nothing short of great. Not only is there an indoor pool to splash and play in with the kiddos, it is directly across the street from the ocean and in close proximity to so many great restaurants. Definitely a must place stay I guarantee you will love it just as much as we did. We will definitely be looking at staying here again in the future!

Great little find in Virginia Beach!

Beautiful full room with separate bedroom and full kitchen . The view is spectacular and the building is close to everything ! We ate at some wonderful restaurants and never had a bad meal . Recommend Rockafeller’s and Captain George’s , Chix on the Beach and Jumping Shrimp . Parking pass allowed us to park and come and go from parking garage garage accreted the street from the property. Mari was amazing checking on us every step to ensure we had a great time . Highly recommend staying with her!

Duane and Trish were amazing hosts! This was our first family vacation as a family of 4 and everything was absolutely perfect! Duane reached out several times to assure everything was set and we understood everything we needed to know for our stay! His recommendations were top notch and very informative. We will most defiantly be back in the future! Thank you Duane and Trish for your hospitality!

Family LOVED! this house! The house was set up well and very comfortable. If you are looking for the four seasons, this is not it. It is a truly welcoming and comfortable home in a lovely location. We kayaked and paddleboarded at sunset every night (our PB’s), did the beach during the day, cooked in the well equipped kitchen and spent family time in the game room at night. It was perfect! Host and property manager were SO helpful and responsive! Cons: Water BUT the host has a 5 gallon water dispenser. Bring at least one 5 gallon container a day. Ace hardware in Corolla have them right in Corolla. Careful washing whites at the house. The water discolored a pair of white linen pants. We were very pleased and will plan to rent this home next year! It was magical and a great vacation. Oh and many horse visits!

This is the second time my family has stayed at one of Bonnie’s places and it was fantastic. The house was spacious and the yard was enjoyed by all. The shared pier was a great spot for our teens to take pictures and the shared beach was perfect for the littles to swim and play in the sand. We had a great stay! It was a nice walk to the beach and the backyard area was so beautiful. There were ducks that would play in the lake and a a comfortable hammock to lay on while you watched. 😄 We also enjoyed how cozy the studio felt, just like we were at home. The decor was nice and the bed had comfortable blankets and pillows! 🙂

From: The Ladies (70+yo old girlfriends who visited) The airbnb was very comfortable and convenient to the beach. Christina was wonderful and answered immediately the few times we called with a question. She even went above and beyond and left us breakfast goodies/items and then provided puzzles to borrow once we told her that we enjoyed them. She was patient with us senior ladies :). We also appreciate your hospitality during our stay also. Maybe the one suggestion that I would make is that one of the bedrooms upstairs should probably have 2 twin beds instead of a double bed, therefore everyone could have their own bed. We would stay here again on our next Va beach visit! Thanks for everything!

We were in town visiting relatives and appreciated the easy access and location near the airport. We didn’t require kitchen space but the refrigerator and coffeemaker were perfect. Plenty of room in 4 upstairs bedrooms and TV’s everywhere! Residential area so feels like home. Very friendly hosts who frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Definitely stay here again. Meticulously maintained and extremely clean! Nice touches such as a welcome card and loaf of bread, snack basket and wine in the fridge. Pantry well stocked with cleaner, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. Great location, very close to the Virginia Beach Town Center, great restaurants and shopping. Also very close to major roads. Rosemary was very responsive and even came on a holiday to replace the batteries in the front door keypad.

The place was exactly as described. It's so close to the beach and yet private at the same time. The suite was perfectly sized and had everything you could need. I would definitely stay again.

Nareina was a great host. We had an issue come up prior to arrival and she worked with us and helped out tremendously. She was awesome to work with, very quick responses to questions, and very Pleasant. The house was great, very comfortable and close to area attractions. Outstanding fire pit in the back with great furniture. Very peaceful location and comfortable home!
