The Chintre is definitely a place to remember. Located in a green setting, this rural cottage is admirably run by enthusiasts of good products. But the real asset of this charming bed and breakfast is the evening table. Thierry and Jacqueline prove to be fine cooks who spoil their hosts with local products, most of which is produced on site. The atmosphere is always excellent and the guests are as thin and pleasant as the wines. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay - one of the nicest properties we have stayed at in France (and we have been to quite a few!) The photos don’t do the house justice - both the inside and outside of this property are delightful and allowed our big group their own space when they wanted it. It is in the most peaceful location with stunning views from every angle of the house and garden. The extra high chairs and cots were greatly appreciated and the little ones loved watching the deer, squirrels as rabbits in the garden and the surrounding fields. John and Sarah were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had prior to our stay - I very much hope we will have the opportunity to come back to the house in the future.

We can’t thank Lucile and Sebastian enough for their help and wonderful hospitality during our stay. Particularly with there support when our hire car broke down and had to be towed away! Anyone travelling to Agen should definitely stay here! The air BNB was so peaceful and the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. Sensational ❤️

Olivia and David are really pleasant, friendly, flexible, and will also be able to guide you usefully to make your stay in Puy l 'Evêque from reception to departure. In terms of services offered, it's high class, from accommodation to breakfast. All for a really modest price. I spent a night in the room called "Du Colonel", the reality exceeds the photos: we are immediately won over as soon as we pass the door by so much charm of this world decorated with great taste. You can even enjoy some outbuildings, terrace, small living room... Is it necessary to specify that I recommend it?

Staying at Karine’s home was an unexpected blessing, and I’m filled with deep gratitude for having found this sanctuary. I traveled from the United States to take part in the Great Ordination week at Plum Village—a sacred journey—and I needed a quiet, nurturing space to return to after long, full days of ceremony and presence. Karine, with her warmth and generosity, was the most gracious and thoughtful host. Her home is beautifully tended to, with every detail reflecting care. Having a comfortable bed, a private shower and toilet, and a serene atmosphere made all the difference—it truly felt like a retreat. The breakfast and coffee she provided were simple and nourishing, and the peacefulness of the space supported my rest in such a profound way. Just 12 minutes by car from both Lower and Upper Hamlet, the location was perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend Karine’s place to anyone coming to Plum Village or simply seeking rest in this part of France!

I had an amazing experience at Ghislaine’s chateau and I strongly recommend it to all! The castle is beautiful and with the charm of history, you are in the middle of really excellent countryside in peace and quiet but a very short drive from many beautiful villages to explore. All is exactly as described- the bathroom facilities and bedroom are so nice, there is an adorable view of the countryside from the big bedroom windows, plus you get to wake up every morning and have a sumptuous breakfast on the patio made from local ingredients including Ghislaine’s own garden. Most of all, Ghislaine is a very kind and generous host, always happy to help. Wonderful!

We had a pleasant stay at Prisca's, a little too short for our taste. Suitable accommodation for a weekend with friends or family. Quiet accommodation in the countryside. Love the breakfast with a wide variety of homemade jams and juices. I recommend it. 😃

Lovely place to stay. Great location. Beautiful garden and outside area to sit. Rooms are lovely, clean and decorated very nicely. Shower is great . Dominique is a fantastic host and so helpful. Would recommend this place and would definitely return.

Room that we booked an hour before arrival because of a mechanical issue on a travel bike. Ronald welcomed us without problem, spacious and very comfortable accommodation and appreciated lunch service. A big thank you to him for his responsiveness. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a short stay of 3 days at Claire and Marc's estate. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the estate with the pool and spa, the well-equipped and arranged studio with stunning views on a cow field where the sun sets, beautiful! But also the meal we could have had one night. We enjoyed ourselves! A big thank you to Marc and Claire for their hospitality and kindness. We were super well received. We will come back without hesitation to finish our visit to the Dordogne 😁 See you soon!

Victoria is a wonderful host who really cares that you have the best possible experience staying in her beautiful home. She was flexible with her breakfasts and regularly checked to ensure there was nothing else I wanted in my room, for breakfast, during my travels in the local area. Nothing was too much trouble. We have talked, laughed, enjoyed the shade under the magnificent trees in the garden. We sat quietly during an interruption in our conversation, as the mother deer and her 2 fawns walked into the garden. Victoria is a lovely, spiritual lady who made my stay very special. Comfy bed, lovely room, easy parking… loved it!
