Very nice place, very scenic and has a clean, good beach to swim in. And the house was really nice with high ceilings and large rooms. And we loved having the outdoor covered eating area. It was a great place to spend time with friends and family. We look forward to going back in the future.

We enjoyed staying at Jeanielou's home. Her family was very accommodating and friendly. The home is very well designed, big area for family and friends to gather, and for us the location was perfect as we have family in both Ormoc City and Albuera. We will be back soon! Place was a bit far from the city but did not regret booking here. It was wide and clean and had everything you can possibly need. Mylene was very accommodating and even went above and beyond just to cater to our needs. Would definitely stay in this place again once we’re back soon!

I find it challenging to rate places in other countries where cultural norms are different. I try to give some grace to the hosts, but also be fair for other travelers who need to know vital details. the home was beautiful, clean, safe, affordable, with aircon in the bedroom and reported to have hot water (though it would not turn on for me). the ambient temp water is common in phils, and warm enough for me personally. there are not many options in Ormoc, so I was thrilled to find this place, especially with how quickly Giovanni answered my questions. it's a neighborhood in the Philippines. it will have noise at all hours. enough said. I found the address/instructions challenging. my hosts were able to find it with ease. this was a bit nervous for me at first though. also, the access to the home was not clear, with one neighbor helping with the gate, and a second person arriving with the house key. id recommend this is improved for other guests. overall: would return.

My friends and I attended a wedding in Ormoc and decided to stay overnight last minute. Came across Jen’s property and we’re glad we booked it! The place is private, very spacious, and clean. Plus point for the fast and reliable wifi. All rooms have functioning ACs and we all slept comfortably. Agree with the other review that it could use more amenities, however, you could just ask the caretaker if you need something and they will provide it. Screens would be helpful too as they were mosquitoes and bugs coming in at night but other than that, the place is super nice and our stay was great! Jen is responsive and she’s a great host. Highly recommended!
