When we arrived at night (12:30am), Sheila was waiting for us at the casa. Even in the night she opened the door with her bright smile and welcomed us to her casa. The next morning a huge breakfast was served to us and at night she also cooked us a lovely dish the traditional Ropa Vieja. De mini bar was also a nice plus and was refilled every day. She also changed our bedsheet and towels for us without asking. Thank you so much for that. We stayed for 2 nights in her casa, because it was so close to the center we could walk there. Near her house are some small shops owned by people living in the house. It is super cheap. If you want to change money, Sheila recommended us to go to “ casa de cambion “ which is a 10 minute walk away from the casa. It has a really good exchange rate, so we would recommend it too. Be aware of the scammers in front of the office, so DON’T change money on the street! Even if they say they have the best rate! Dear Sheila, thanks again for our pleasant stay at your casa, if we ever come back to Santa Clara we will definitely come back to your casa.

Downtown structure in a great location. Very responsive hosts in organizing the currency exchange and scheduling us the collective taxi to El Nicho park. Clean room and good breakfast.

We stayed here for two days. The house was just as described. The location was great. There were good restaurants and cafe nearby. Just one block away was Malagón, where we saw a beautiful sunset. In addition, the host was very welcoming. She could speak very good English, which is very important here. She provided us with travel information, helped us contact the driver, and provided a lot of helps. It was like your local friend. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to come again.

The place is good and there are no complaints about the place. The host was also very welcoming and kind, although he invited mejunje to the place, which, judging by the reviews, has a bad reputation for tourists. !!!Attention for tourists with a car!!! Do not leave the car near the checkout! Find a paid guarded parking. We had a car stolen at night and spent the next day in the police station. There are no complaints about the hosts and the property, but there is a request to recommend a guarded parking lot to residents if you have a car.

The hosts are very nice. There was some confusion as to whether we had paid for one room or two. (We had paid for two.) The Internet basically doesn't work upstairs in either of the rooms, unless you go out to the terrace. Motorcycle taxi into town takes about 5 to 10 minutes. The host will arrange for one, as well as transportation to the airport.

The apartment is super cute, clean and cozy. Since there was not too much choice for us as vegetarians in the restaurants, we were pleased that we had a small kitchen and could cook something ourselves. Lourdes has given us helpful tips on where to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. Also the breakfast was great! A small highlight for us was the roof terrace.

Great place. Rooms are clean and comfy. Within 5- 10 minute walk from the centre. Where entertainment is nightly. Taxi from airport $20. (14 kilometres). Great hosts.

Barbara was a very friendly host and made us feel welcome. the room and the kitchen was very clean and with all the necessary equipment. if you want to book the room with the kitchen though you have to specifically ask for it.

Raul and his wife are great people. I stayed there for a very short time, only one night I arrived late at night without having had internet connection to warn them, they thought I would no longer come given the time, but adorablely offered to prepare food when I arrived, to avoid me starting to find a restaurant. The next morning I had a great breakfast. Raul went out of her way to find me a taxi for my next stop. I only saw them little time but enough to say that they are incredibly nice people
