Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Vila Verde

5 stars to António and his beautiful home at Casa dos Fernandos! The house is stunning; it’s a restored historic stone home that retains all charm and character but with modern amenities. The inside is very clean and has everything we could want for a long stay. I also must commend the gardens - there is so much fruit and chestnuts to be harvested and António took the time to explain it all to us and also invited us to use what we would like. António is as gracious host who greeted us personally to show us around - he even had some wine and other essentials ready for us. And, because it was a colder day, he had already started a fire in the beautiful fireplace. The house has plenty of room. We are just one couple and have lots of room to spread out but I can see how even multiple families could share this space and be very comfortable. The location is top! It’s across from a lovely church, and a short drive to many shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommended !

Thank you to Carla and her husband for hosting us. The house and pool are great, the view of the mountains is amazing. We had a great vacation. It's a shame to sometimes hear the dogs from the kennel at the bottom of the village. We recommend!!

Quinta do casal is a beautiful, green place, the welcome from Aurora and her team is excellent. We spent 10 days with our 21 month old son, he loved playing in the garden, having toys available and seeing the chickens every morning. The pool is beautiful, several times we had it just for us it was great. the place is well located also to go to the river beaches on foot or to visit Braga, Bom jesus, Guimaraes etc. Shops a 5 minute drive away. Excellent vacation spot, only small downside the very busy road close by. Thank you for everything Aurora.

Me and my husband had a very sort stay we went only for business but we felt very calm to have this place made our head much more clear we was very welcome defo one day will come back for more days to enjoy the facility highly advise anyone to visit if you’re looking for peace .

The house was great! We loved to stay there, definitely a place to come back. The host was very responsive.

Exceptional estate, in a quiet area, even better than in the photos. All amenities a few kms away, fruits, vegetables and some eggs from the estate available. Ideal for a holiday with family or friends. Ana Luis is available and friendly. We'll be back the next time we come to Portugal.

Excellent host. Worried about making us feel at home. Very large, well-equipped house and plenty of bathrooms which is good for large groups. Swimming pool with good cover for rainy days.

Excellent stay in a perfect setting. , quiet and clean tastefully arranged accommodation and garden Superb pool. The "staff" we saw in the cleanliness were very nice. On the other hand, I don't know who the owner is and left without seeing anyone. Too bad because there was no communication.
