Really nice cabin in very beautiful surroundings! There's a lot to do in the area – we visited cozy Alingsås, swam in the lake close to the cabin, hiked and made a fire by the fire pit. Highly recommend booking a stay with Jens 😊

What a place! Everything from the welcome and tips on what to see and do in the surroundings, to the moment I would leave the cabin. A short visit, this time. Because I can definitely imagine going back and enjoying nature and tranquility. Just nice things to say about Christer and Camilla. Perfect host couple!

Incredibly nice bathroom and Tom was always on the hook when you wrote to him with questions! You got very calm from the area as it was incredibly quiet and beautiful. The walk around the lake is highly recommended! Close to a large shopping center that had everything you can imagine. If we are going to Alingsås again, I don't hesitate to book again!

Amazing place! We stayed here for 1 week in October and all 3 of us, my husband, our 5-year-old daughter and me, enjoyed every moment of being there. The house is cozy and clean, and there is everything you need for cooking. On top of that, there are plenty of toys for kids and our daughter was super happy with it! The nature is stunning - the lake and the woods, and at night the sky full of stars. Stefan was very friendly and always replied to all my questions, providing useful tips and advice on food/shops/activities. All three of us agreed that we would definitely like to come here for holidays again! 10/10!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

the host couple were quick to answer questions, and also let us use the ski equipment on the day of departure. The house is very cozy and there are many beds.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We had a great holiday at Linnea's house. Everything was there that we needed. The location is great, right on the lake, very quiet, you are really secluded and have your peace and quiet. We spent a lot of time with the two small boats on the lake and enjoyed the sun in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

The cabin is the perfect place if you have a dog or dogs who are afraid of fireworks, as the place consisting of a quiet surroundings and atmosphere. The place is nicely decorated, as well as with all the amenities you could want, cozy and convenient and heart-warming decor. You can really find yourself there, as you settle down completely due to the quiet atmosphere. Haris is a nice host, and is quick to answer any questions and things to be in doubt. I can only highly recommend, this place, as well as the nearby Kosmosse natural park, as both places have the most beautiful setting I've seen.

Very pleasant host, and great accommodation.

A fantastic place, all luxuries as described and at the same time in the middle of nature. We stayed as a family of four with 2 6-year-old kids. (kids of that age should be used to climbing ladders, just to be save with the upstairs beds) We had a fantastic and relaxing time, enjoying the view (from the great patio or through the big windows from the sofa), the lake (swimming!) and activities in the area (Isaberg of course, but there is also great cycling route on an old railway line through the forest not far for the house, or lots and lots of berries in the surrounding forests). The taste of the water was not an issue for us. It should be mentioned however that there are no shades in the living room, so the upstairs beds enjoy always the full bright sunset over the lake (great if you want to see it, not if it disturbs your sleep).

We had a wonderful stay in this small cottage. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere with the warm fireplace was very relaxing, and the surroundings offered stunning opportunities for exploration and walks. We will definitely come back!
