A 10-star stay! César was very kind, he welcomed us upon arrival and showed us the house and the surroundings, he even left us complimentary breakfast. The house is very cozy and was clean and renovated, prettier than in the photos. The village is very quiet and the surroundings are beautiful. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommended!

Simply fantastic, very attentive to us and very flexible with the arrival. The apartment is very conveniently located with a beach bar nearby and plenty of points of interest that you can visit on foot or by bicycle, which are provided for you during your stay. In short, highly recommended!

We spent a couple of great days staying in Salazar enjoying the hospitality of María and Julián as well as the visits we had planned, all of them within a radius of about 15-20 km from the accommodation (very close to Villarcayo and Medina de Pomar where you have all kinds of services). The house is cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Maria, thank you so much for "breakfast", we did not expect to find such a variety of milk, coffee, jam, butter, muffins, etc. In short, a pleasure. The house is absolutely perfect! We traveled with our two children (3 years and 6 months) and the house had everything they needed. Cris left everything ready for us and from the beginning made sure we had everything we needed for them. Perfect location to go to our favorite beaches in Cantabria. We'll be back for sure!

If you want a place to get away from everything, then this is it! The space itself is quite rustic, but it does exactly what it says on the tin. It was very clean, friendly, fully stocked kitchen, the bed was comfy. The house is old, so gets cold in winter, but there was an electric heater and a fireplace with wood supplied if you need it. If you want to be in the middle of 'everything going on', then this isn't for you, but the scenery is lovely, and peaceful, it really is away from everything, but a 10 minute drive and you're in the villages with all the cheese shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Despite no WiFi, I still got a signal / data on my phone, so it wasn't totally isolated!

Communication with Patricia was excellent and very good tips for visiting the area. The house is very well furnished and has all the amenities for a pleasant stay. The pool is a plus. The mountains are breathtaking landscapes. If you are athletic (trail running, cycling), you will enjoy it. The nights are very quiet. I would this property.

Great place in Ampuero, 15-20 minutes from Laredo by car where it is very easy to park. Beautiful setting with mountains as background. Very clean, very functional accommodation with a very friendly and lively village life on weekends. Village walkable for shops and restaurants. Beatriz was very attentive and responsive. We traveled with our perrete and when we arrived at the house, he had left us dishes with water for him, he was always super attentive and gives very good recommendations from the place. To tour Las Merindades, Medina de Pomar is the perfect location. As for the house, everything is as in the photos, impeccable and clean, without missing details, including what you need for breakfast, as well as one of the photos. The parking, nothing problematic. To get downtown, only 5 minutes. The parquet Villacobos, exceptional, to take a bath in one of the pools of the Trueba River. And Medina de Pomar, full of corners to photograph with a lot of history behind it. In case anyone doubts, Medina de Pomar, it is a city in the center of a setting, Las Merindades, with some of the best places that can be visited in Burgos and I would say that in Spain. And this home does it justice.
