This is a unique place. Walking distance from the oldest Winery in Texas. The neighbors fed deer around dusk. In minutes, there were 40+ in the yard. My son with Down Syndrome was in heaven. The front porch faced west and the sunsets were magical. Our host was responsive and helpful. The home was impeccable. There is no way, in any form, we could be critical of anything we experienced. If you have never been to Del Rio, you need to see it. It has a unique history. Should you go, go to Old Town Del Rio (this property). Downtown has a few special restaurants. We started out for three weeks in the one-room Casita out back while the RV was in the shop. We needed to extend our stay because the RV wasn't ready but there was already a booking for the Casita. So we upgraded to the main house. This is a beautiful historic house in a great neighborhood. And as usual, Charlotte was a terrific host. We would definitely stay again if needed.

Gerald is a great host with an amazing and unique place on the Devils River! We loved exploring the area and felt like we were able to see a lot of the river. Gerald had everything we needed to get out and make the most of our trip. We will definitely be back, thanks Gerald!

Great location in South Del Rio. The paved street to access the property is rough with many bumps and needing repair. The property entrance requires you to drive across an unmarked concrete bridge over an irrigation ditch that isn’t lit making entry at night a challenge. The house was big and clean. There were many amenities making the home very comfortable. There were many whitetail deer walking on the property that the grandchildren loved seeing.

A delightful home tucked away on the edge of Amistad National Recreation Area, and just a stone’s throw from downtown Del Rio. We booked fairly last-minute in order to have a place to stay to watch the solar eclipse and Katherine got us right in. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

This Airbnb is incredible. We booked last minute—we wanted a break in town from our roadtrip around Texas with our 2 dogs. This place was so cute, so comfortable and inviting. We ended up adding another day just to lounge around because it was so great. Carla was an excellent communicator and so responsive even though I reached out late in the evening for an even later check in.

Quiet neighborhood, great older home suited our needs perfectly! We needed a place for family to stay for a wedding, everyone had plenty of space and bathrooms to get ready. Pool was lovely, we didn’t use it as it was February and 40ish degrees. Wonderful home that we will definitely keep in mind for all future visits to Del Rio!

This was a very beautiful place to stay with everything needed to be comfortable. Comfortable beds, full kitchen with all the necessities to cook, and a great outdoor space to hang out. The views right out the back are gorgeous! It really is a great place to stay when visiting the area!

This host has a beautiful & inviting home that makes you feel welcomed as soon as you step in. Our host was very responsive & was easy to communicate with. Wish we could’ve stayed a few more days in this beautiful home.

My stay at the villa included amazing sunsets on the viewing deck, a comfortable bed, an amazing bathroom and shower, and many thoughtful amenities. The spaces were squeaky clean and the outside areas had plenty of seating for multiple parties, though we were only 2 guests. There were some apparent renovations going on in the main living area of the house so I can’t wait for those to be completed so we can return and possibly rent the entire lovely home.

Clean & comfortable! This Airbnb was beautiful & spacious!

Great location right on the lake. Perfect amount of space for us 6. Two couples and two teens. The home was decorated perfectly and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. We will be back soon!
