Vacation rentals in Vaala

A great base for a couple of days of skiing. There were five adults and three children, and the space was great. Everything in the apartment exudes quality, and the details are thoughtfully thought out. The kitchen is very well-stocked, plenty of dishes and didn't have to be doing the dishes all the time. A separate sauna building is a nice addition to the space with stunning scenery. We would have loved to stay longer, great listing!

Excellent accommodation in a great location for destinations and activities in Ukkohalla. Everything you need was found in the listing, plus a lot of extra things like winter gear. Here again if the trip is to Hyrynsalme.

Markus home was wonderful rural location with nice house, beautiful lake to swim in, and big sauna. we would come back again!

The location of the cabin was so nice. You had a direct view of the ski slope. The house was very nicely decorated and there was everything you needed. A special highlight was the sauna for us.

Amazing place, with a beautiful setting. Taimi's granddaughter, we were explaining everything about the reindeer, was lovely. They prepared the sauna for us to be warm when we arrived. Everything was perfect. Totally recommendable. We hope to repeat

We had an incredible stay at Esko’s place! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the lake, offering breathtaking views and the perfect setting for relaxation. Esko recommended fishing, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, providing the most peaceful nights we’ve ever had—ideal for a good night’s sleep. The house itself is cozy and felt just like home. When we arrived, the house was already warm and welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also very convenient, with close proximity to larger cities like Rovaniemi, Oulu, and Kajaani. It’s also near ski resorts. Having sauna is amazing A short drive away, the town of Puolanka offers everything you might need. Additionally, there’s excellent connectivity in the area, so we had no issues accessing mobile internet during our stay. We highly recommend Esko’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.
