This place feels homely and comfortable, I loved how everything was exactly as mentioned if not more. The Host is friendly along with her family they were welcoming and very helpful. I would love to come back definitely. However I would also recommend families to book this for their vacation it’s a good place to go to💯🙌🏽

This was incredible value for money! The views were amazing, the house was clean and lovely, there was loads to keep the children entertained and the host was super friendly and helpful! A wonderful experience in nature, so tranquil and refreshing! Would definitely book here again.

This was our second visit to Frans place and it was as if we returned to family. Fran and Rick are extremely accommodating superhosts and we will definitely recommend them and their place without any reservations. Frans is our go to home away from home. Wonderful place and such a free space. Wonderful hosts, just had such a wonderful time. They thought of ia by makimg a great fire, it waa just so sweet.

The Host Paul allowed us to have our very small intimate wedding there.. it was the best night of my whole life and the propert is superb😍. I would not trade that night and the overall feel for anything else. I have to add that the staff member was walking around our guests and for most park of the wedding sat in the main houses' bar on his phone watching videos (the guest toilet is right next to the bar btw).. i eventually asked him around 23h00 when our guests left to please leave our house , it was quite awkward having him sit there watching videos while we all stand around the kitchen/ bar and all talking about how the wedding and night went.

Beautiful place on the dam, was so easy to walk down and get on with some fishing. Lovely spot, the bedrooms are separated and have their own bath/shower and toilet with a communal kitchen and lounge. The TV has been updated and the dstv was a bonus for the kids. A homely environment with the requisite requirements. Thanks Wendy.

Nice accommodations for our group of 6 with clean modern bathrooms and equipped kitchen. Great open garden and lovely stoep and braai.

This place is great and perfect for a quiet gateway even for big groups, braai facilities, swimming pool and the entire house. I'd definitely go back.

I had a great experience all round. I communicated that I'd only be arriving much later in the evening which Andre was more than happy to accommodate. I located the house pretty easily and was welcomed in and instantly made to feel comfortable. I had business to attend to in a dodgy area the following morning, so I didn't wanna leave my valuables in the car - Andre was happy for me to leave all of my valuables in the cottage until much later in the afternoon, which made me feel safe and at ease. The cottage looks exactly like in the pictures, except it feels even more spacious than it looks. If I ever need an AirBNB in the area, Andre would be my go-to, without any hesitation.

This is perfect for when you want a place to sleep after a night out. Chike is very friendly and welcomed us with a smile.

I would definitely recommend Elm Tree Cottage. The cottage is absolutely beautiful—tastefully decorated with so much attention to detail. Delicious coffee and even a welcoming drink—what a treat! The farm offers a serene and peaceful environment that's great for unwinding. Verity is the perfect hostess— thank you for a lovely stay.

Great stay in the countryside. Really loved the farm atmosphere and Owen was on hand to assist with any requests or questions - even giving us a radio handset to call if anything was required. Lots of flies but that can be expected with the horses and cows around. Even though it rained in the evening (which was welcomed cos it was super hot) we still managed to have a great time thanks to the BBQ on the veranda. Thanks Conrad and team

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice scenery and well maintained gardens, pool. Little TLC needed in our room (TV stand loose), and iron was damaged - which was rectified timeously. We were also pleased that unit has a full electricity backup system.

We loved it there. It was peaceful and loved falling asleep and waking up with the sound of the river. We loved our stay there and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a tranquil weekend away.

The views are spectacular and the river is breathtaking the location is excellent as we were surrounded by nature at its best.The accommodation is clean & it is well - maintained and we were wonderful welcomed by the owners & such friendly staff ,just needs little more family activities otherwise it's value for your money,we definitely will be going back to this amazing place.

Pictures don't do it justice. So much better than expected. The clubhouse an pool is stunning and not like the photo. Love the nature next to the river. Whish their was a walking trail next to the river, couldn't find one, but you can go out on the road and take a walk. We had to pay a breakage deposit cash which we didn't know about, but they were accommodating and we had a wonderful weekend. The hot tub was amazing and can get really really hot.

Apartment is stunning, beautiful views and it has all the necessary crockery. They also have ice buckets and plastic wine glasses which can be used at the picnic area which the general public also has access to. So you can save yourself some money!

Wonderful getaway. My husband particularly enjoyed the fishing. Its a short distance walk to the dam. My 2 small pups had a wonderful time too. Will definitely head back. Peter is super friendly!
