Vacation rentals in Upper Kilmacow

The Rose cottage was really my first experience with an Air B&B anywhere let alone Ireland, so I was guarded in my expectations. The cottage was superlative in almost every regard. Great kitchen, bedrooms are private and well-appointed and separate baths for myself and my son. And as I am finding in my travels through Ireland, the internet service was reliable and robust. Richard is an amiable and gregarious host that provided me with invaluable guidance and insights to the local area as I am looking for a house to buy here. He is the Sherpa guide to that area of the country. Staying here gave me a sense of the deep history associated with the location from the 600 year old castle to which the cottage attached even to the Game of Throne decorative swords on the walls. The neighbors that also reside there are friendly and outgoing and will engage in spirited conversations over a cup of tea. The only downside comment I could offer is that the sheep seemed a little nervous

This Airbnb&B was a treasure trove of lovelyness!! There were toys for our 6 year old to play with, space for our three month old and a great selection of TV services to watch. There was also lots of added extras from boardgames to coffee pods! Neal and Ann were fabulous hosts and always quick with a response! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in St Helens and would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!

This is a very special place. Mairéad could not have been more accommodating and kind. From the fresh eggs, sausage and rashers to the sweet baby lambs and donkeys on the property, this place had it all and then some. Including an amazing walkable beach. Just stunning all around. Such a beautiful place and such beautiful hosts. Highly highly recommend The Cottage. Thank you very much Mairéad and John for making the last leg of our trip so wonderful. We shall return. Where do I begin? An absolutey beautiful and peaceful lodge. Sam and her dad was the nicest and most helpful hosts you could ask for! Every one of our needs were met here. I would reccommend this place to all types of travellers. We were not short of keeping ourselves entertained. The lodge had board games, card games, all tv streaming services and apps, A fully fitted kitchen space and a hot tub. Doesnt get much better than that. 5 stars all around!

Very easy to get in and out of. Marian was very good with a couple of little things that needed attention like getting new light bulbs out straight away. Great little playground for the little one and very peaceful.

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

The cabin was fabulous. Exactly as described. Rooms were lovely and the Kitchen had everything you would need with alot of extra touches added to make you feel right at home. Hosts were so friendly and gave a great recommendation for a place to have a lovely breakfast. Couldnt fault anything about our stay from start to finish. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely quiet spot in the countryside. Accommodation is stunning … inside and out .. well worth a visit .
