Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Upper Darby Township

This was a personal experience. 1st time bringing guest to visit my family and hometown. So staying at Sam’s place was a good first impression. The place was neat and clean. The host was responsive and very helpful when needed. The next door neighbors were also friendly. I would definitely recommend for a comfortable place to stay.

In a city of hundreds of stay options, Katerina's house was a great reminder for me on the positives of choosing an airbnb over a hotel. We had the whole house with a yard to ourselves. It was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The host was kind and responsive. All in all, it was perfect.

Chantel's place was great. About 20 min from where I needed to go. Very clean. Looked like the picture. The bed was comfortable. The bedrooms were one flight up. The bathroom was very modern, shower was modern. She gave us enough towels and wash clothes and make up remover. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us, a nice touch. She was very responsive and quick to answer questions. Very easy to find her door and to get in. It was street parking but it was easy to find a spot.

Evelyn was great! Super responsive and friendly. The house was absolutely perfect for our family visiting Philadelphia for Thanksgiving.

I think this was a fair listing and fair price. Nothing majorly problematic stood out to me which was awesome, and the mattresses were very comfortable. Only a few minor negatives (listed below). *Room scent machines & plugins were excessive and too frequent *No coat rack near the door *No shampoo/conditioner provided (that I could find) *No cutting boards (that I could find) *Parking instructions were on the counter but wish they were in the listing / somewhere in the app *Carpet is well-worn in the bedrooms *No hand railing for the top 7 stairs or so, leading up to the top floor *No outdoor seating (shown in photos) *Only 1 bathroom on the top floor, second bathroom was in the basement (nothing can be done, it was just inconvenient) *No real comforters for the beds, only fleece throw blankets

Circumstances were a bit odd given that I live in the same neighborhood, but I needed a place to stay for the week and Rob/Amanda’s place was great. Clean, and clear instructions. There were some dogs that barked next door, and the occasional Septa bus that would drive by but I also live in Philly so I didn't mind the noise. Would highly recommend this place to any out-of-towners, there is a lot to do/eat/drink in the neighborhood.

The game room was absolutely amazing and the hot tub, also a highlight . We loved the bar and the frosted glassware. The hosts were present/available without being at all intrusive. There were ample bathrooms and shower facilities with towels a’plenty. The beds were comfortable and the fire place,an unexpected bonus. The kitchen facilities were roomy and fully stocked. It was clean, comfortable and tons of fun- worth every penny 😊

Perfect spot for our visiting family. Close to many amenities, lots of room, and an overall homey and fun spot. Hosts are so responsive and kind. They were proactive in reaching out with check in instructions and follow up quickly. This put our mind and travels at ease.

This was truly a lovely Airbnb. Our host was great. All check in instructions were very clear, everything accessible. The space itself was spacious enough for me and my two siblings. It was a little older/worn in but made for an extremely warm and homey place. It did get a little warm from the radiators at night, particularly in the middle room with the windows, but hey it’s a blessing to be kept warm during a very very cold winter weekend (snow day)! Host was very quick to respond to our questions, was proactive and went out of her way to check in on us. Fairly close to the sights we wanted to check out in Queens Village, Fishtown. Parking wasn’t too shabby, even at night when the street usually fills up. Would stay again!

Loved the space, it’s matched the photos. We were close to the city, and only about 10-15 minutes away to our planned stops. We would definitely stay here again. Also Seckou was very responsive!

The host was very responsive. We got snowed in and the maintenance person showed up within 15 minutes, helped me unstuck my car and cleaned up the driveway. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect and within walking distance of great restaurants and historical landmarks. Long was very friendly, always available and keeps the place squeaky clean. Will definitely be booking again!

We were in town to celebrate thanksgiving with family and this listing didn’t disappoint! 5 of us stayed comfortably and the unit was outfitted with everything we needed. It is very conveniently located to many shops and restaurants. Booking/checking in and out was seamless. I would definitely recommend this listing if you need space. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family.

I rented this suite for a 2 night stay while I moved from Philly to New Jersey as we needed somewhere to crash in between. The host was super responsive and friendly right from the beginning. They allowed our two shibas to stay the night with small pet deposit. When we first entered the suite, I was shocked at how large and NICE it was! I knew it looked good in the pictures, but wow that giant window facing the street was amazing. Kitchen had everything we needed along with squeaky clean bathroom, washer /dryer, and comfy bed. The area is one of best in Philly… very safe , and if you’re in town visiting there are lots of good restaurants and shops. I wish I had more time to enjoy at this place and would 100% return again. The price was equal if not cheaper than staying at a hotel, and you get so much more here. Thanks again!

Great location and unit. There's so much to do in the area that is within walking distance. The place is very minimalistic, which is nice. It has everything you need and is super clean. Would definitely recommend. Natasha is also very nice and provides clear instructions and information. Be mindful of the stairs. They could be brutal if you have heavy luggage/bags.

Gabriel was very responsive and the house was beautiful! Close to tons of restaurants and bars. We had a great weekend stay at this AirBnB!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is roomy and well maintained. The bed is incredibly comfortable too. If you are not driving, many sites of interest are a subway ride away, Uber or within walking distance. The place is on one of the major streets in Philadelphia, so everything is close. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a lovely condo in the heart of city center! Very walkable to restaurants and attractions. The space was large enough for 4 of us, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was suited for our needs. The place was very clean and neat. Rob & Kim were great hosts and provided all of the information that we needed. Highly recommend this place and would gladly stay again!

Parking was easy to find which is great in Philly. It’s close to the Wells Fargo Center (and other sport complexes). We paid almost half what it would have cost to stay at the casino for one night. It was a nice stay and the host was responsive and friendly! I recommend.

Amazing space! It was exactly as described and what was needed for the weekend. Definitely plan to book again in the future!

Kristen’s place was homey, well equipped and comfortable. When in Philadelphia, I would choose Kristin’s place again, for the nice location and quiet neighborhood, which was walkable to restaurants, but also had free on street parking.

We had a great stay. The place was well located for where we wanted to spend time in the city. We had a little trouble locating the entrance as it is tucked behind the building in a narrow street that's common in this area. Other than that minor hiccup, our stay was great. We greatly appreciated Christina letting us check in early unprompted and having the heat turned up since it was a rather cold arrival day. I would definitely stay here again.
