We have just arrived home after Staying in fergals beautiful holiday home 21st/28th Dec The house was spotless clean and there was a Christmas tree and decorations all around, a huge bottle of prosecco and some gorgeous biscuits It's such a warm, comfortable house, very peaceful and in a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful too. There is an amazing kitchen with every utensil you could ever think of, 2 beautiful bathrooms, we could not fault anything. If you have children ( we don't) it's perfect, a very safe secure garden and a room off the kitchen with lots and lots of toys and games, A shop that sells everything is a few minutes walk away. There isn't anything to do in the village, but everything is only 30 minutes or less drive away, and omg, there are some absolutely gorgeous places to visit, we looked through all the information left for guests, used our sat nav and was out all day every day We definitely would love to return!!!

Had an amazing and relaxing time, the place was cosy and clean! The hosts were helpful, proactive and made check in/out a seamless experience. Lovely touches such as cake&prosecco laid out for us when we arrived. Beautiful location right on the lake, very much enjoyed the hot tub and was a perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Would love to come back again and highly recommend!!

Perfect for a family getaway. House was exactly as described and absolutely spotless. Alex replied promptly too 😊. We had a great weekend, just wish it could have been longer.

What an amazing place, Seasalter Cabin provided us with a “home” to stay for 4 days. There were lots of options if you want to eat out, or cook! We love your kitchen and that dining table. Feeling energised and chilled afterwards. Thank you!

I am absolutely amazed by this place. Breathtakingly beautiful. Photos don’t even do justice. I was at peace and so happy that I chose this place to spend time away from my home. It is so peaceful, absolutely great host, the outdoor area is sooooo beautiful. I will come back again and again with my family. I’m even going ahead to book now. I am so thankful for the time spent here. It helped my love nature even more. And the Dog!…so adorable and friendly. Allison is such a wonderful and hardworking host. The lake!! Don’t get me started. Rooms were so clean. I honestly was blown away. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. I do want to get married here 😏

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

Great little place for 2 adults and small child. Clean and great location for a quiet little getaway. The parking space is a tad small and a bit difficult to get out due to a chained railing on one side so take a medium sized car. The toilets even had child seat built into them which was great, wish we'd have known to save us bringing our set up! Such a small thing but wish more places had it. Nicely kitted out kitchen ue saucepans, cutlery, milk packets in arrival, tea and coffee etc. Appreciated the few puzzles etc to keep toddler entertained whilst we packed up. Good little walk close to a park and couple of nice pubs, would stay again. We went in March so was nice and quiet!

We had a lovely time! The house is well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. It has a great location in the Cotswolds, near beautiful towns and right by a lake with plenty of wildlife and tranquility. Highly recommended!

Such a lovely little cottage, comfortable, warm, quirky. Hugh and Susanna were lovely hosts. The countryside is absolutely stunning and a short drive away is the stunning coast. Worth every penny.

Joe and sue were amazing hosts throughout my stay. They were available during any questions I had and also very helpful during the storm in January. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an escape to the country, can’t thank them enough. Will definitely be back !!

Thank you Sarah. A really enjoyable stay at Greenlands Barn. Easy to find, great facilities, comfortable environment, didn't want for anything. The AGA kept us very warm! Sandwiched between a couple of rainy days, we walked the River Tone on a bright, sunny Saturday and saw Egrets and Kingfishers along the route. Evenings in were cosy. Would liked to have been able to stay for longer. Such is life...

Amazing stay in cozy cottage, superb views from the accommodation. Short walk down to the lake with private pontoon perfect to enjoy the views with a glass of wine.

Great spot in the world to get away from it all, and just enjoy the scenery. Even a damp and chilly few days in November could not take away the warmth inside and the view outside. The walk down to the lake in the morning with the dog was the highlight.

Such a beautiful little find! Romy was an excellent host, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We visited with our 2 dogs, one who is nervous of other dogs which we spoke to Romy about before booking. We knew she had 2 ridgebacks that were friendly and met them on our second day there as they poked their head through the gates to see who we were. They were very neutral and made for a good training opportunity for our nervous boy. There’s walks right on the doorstep and lots of places to visit nearby such as Rye and Seaford, with many dog friendly pubs along the way. The accommodation was clean and a lovely size. The heating was well needed during the cold nights but the bedroom area does heat right up!! Like Romy mentions, the bedroom area isn’t a high room, I’m 5ft2 and still bumped my head on the beams at times so just a word of warning for taller guests. All in all, lovely place that we hope to visit again soon.

Allison’s cottage has endless positive reviews on air bnb and that’s for a very good reason. The Fisherman’s Cottage is outstanding. You’ll feel right at home the moment you step through the door. The house is full of personality and charm as Allison has worked hard with numerous little touches to welcome her guests and make one’s stay relaxing and comfortable. An absolutely first rate host. Thank you for letting us come for just one night and we absolutely promise to return for longer.

Had a lovely stay over the Christmas period with family. Beautiful property, exactly as described in the profile and pics. Very short drive to the coast where there are some great walks. Definitely looking to come back again.

A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

The Woodland Lodge was exactly what we were looking for on our first journey to the UK. Upon arrival we found the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Alison walked down to the lodge and introduced herself to us the first night we were there; it was an added touch to the wonderful hospitality and excellent communication we received while staying there. The lodge was cozy, lovely, and offered the perfect layout for spending peaceful evenings in the beautiful countryside. we would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Alison!

Stayed at Joan’s in Feb with 3 other family members. We had an 8.5 hour drive from our home to the cabin so self check-in which was also flexible worked perfectly for us. The property is located within a residential area. Even in the dark when we arrived, it was easy to find with parking right outside the front door. The drive is steep, but once you’re in the cabin, it is all on one level so would be okay for those who struggle with mobility. The cabin was full of personality and character which with the log fire,made it cosy. It was also clean, spacious and had enough beds to accommodate 7 people (although note there is one bathroom). The cabin had everything we needed and more to make it a fully self-catered holiday. Including towels and linen. We would recommend breakfast at Waterside Cafe. The cabin is also ideally located to visit the Isle of Skye. On top of the stunning views of the loch and the stars, the addition of the sauna was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Stayed in the Oak Lodge for 2 nights. Everywhere was spotless and exactly as described in the discription. Robyn was very helpful with any queries and catered to our needs efficently. The wifi did not work and our mobile network was very poor which was a little dissappinting in the evenings when we wanted to watch tv but this is highlighted in the description as a bad area for internet which can be put of everyones control. We brought our jack russel oscar who felt right at home espicially at night in front of the fire. The jauzzi was fabulous after a long hike earlier in the day. I would definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful break at the Cabin with family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The place was immaculate and the view over the lake was beautiful. The location is great for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas. Charlotte was a excellent host, she was very responsive and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at during our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day.

We had such a lovely time during our stay in this secret garden as Helen describes it! It's so unusual and peaceful 😌 Helen was so friendly and made us feel comfortable and at home! Would most definitely stay here again

The lodge was perfect for our family getaway during the February break. Our young girls espescially loved having the lake right on the doorstep with the ducks, geese and swans all coming round to say hello. The lodge itself was modern, spotless, well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The resort where the lodges is located had good facilities and friendly staff, the indoor pool and gym were both a good size and well equipped. We didn’t manage the water sports but can imagine this would be top of the list in warmer months. The hosts were very helpful, proactive and clear in their communication which made the whole stay from start to finish seamless. Their website and the lodge itself had lots of information about the local area too which we found useful, a particular highlight was a day to Windermere only about half hour drive away. Overall, would highly recommend.

Place was amazing, great views and very peaceful. Will definitely look to come back in the summer.
